First time there. Saw Gordon Lightfoot. The building was really nice, very nostalgic. Our seats were great. The employees were fantastic. The show was wonderful.

Here to see Emmylou Harris in concert and it was my first visit to this wonderful theater. Sound was excellent and the seats were fine on the floor. My friends in the balcony also said seating and sound was good. Plenty of free parking on the street and in nearby lots. I'm 2 hours north of Ashland, but will definitely return when another show comes to town

Historically significant entertainment house. Started as a restored movie theater. The inside walls of the theater are beautiful testament to old-time ornate artistry for theaters such as this. Resembles Keith-Albee in Huntington. The acoustics are good for the age and type of theater. There are ample entrance/exits. The seats are fair, not overly modern but not very uncomfortable either. There is a rather interesting history of being a haunted building by the "spirits" (ahem) of a construction worker who died here in the 1930s/40s. "He" is apparently known as "Paramount Joe" and is a celebrity in his own rights, who asserts "his" presence from time-to-time, especially if "he" feels being disregarded. I am new to the area and this was my first time there. I did not see any snack/food outlet inside, but there are restaurants outside, all standard fare. On-street and off-street parking was free for the night I was there and likely free as such. If you are unfamiliar with Ashland, it is a small Kentucky town on the border of Ohio, separated by the river. Beware of the cops if you are approaching from Ohio via scenic 52 heading South/East from Portsmouth. The Hanging Rock area is notorious for Speed Trap.
