F This place! Everything is on point! How?!
My wife and I have been going here for the last 7 years, and I have personally tried EVERYTHING on the menu. Instead of doing the 20 min dance of “What should we eat for dinner” we just ask “Pub?”
If you’re not going for the food, then you’re going for the Pub. Everyone is so welcoming and the place just feels warm & inviting. You will leave happier than when you walked in.
Starter: Irish Nachos or Mozzarella Moons
Salad: Brody & Benny or Proper Cobb
Burger: Cherry bomb or Montreal
Pizza: Amy’s Roni or BBQ Ranch
Irish classics: All of them!
I really could keep going on, but do yourself a favor and stop reading this and go become a patron. By the third time of trying something different, you too will think “F this place! Why is everything so good?”
I’m in awe that after I spotted a drain fly larvae in my food, even told the manager there where it was on the plate after she refused to look at it, that she had the audacity to tell me it was a piece of “cheese” when we asked why she hadn’t cleared the whole bill at the end. It wasn’t like I found a piece of plastic. I also had a mouth full of coleslaw as I looked down at my other half of the sandwich and saw a larvae wiggling from it to the caramelized onion on the plate. It was there. My boyfriend wouldn’t have eaten his food had he not been so hungry and almost done with it. He saw it too and isn’t the type to complain about stuff. I don’t know if she has ever found a worm in her food. Maybe she’s eaten the finest quality food her entire life I don’t know. It’s very traumatic and it’s going to take a while for me to trust take out again. The thought of potentially eating many more and not knowing is not sitting well with me. It was very very invalidating to hear that she said that after. When she had no idea if I had taken a video or not. And I would have, had there not been a mother and daughter next to me that I didn’t want to scare or disgust. But after having told her where the worm was, wasting my dinner, being invalidated in that manner, maybe I should have made a scene. Maybe then we could’ve been taken seriously. Always take videos or pictures of your food even if you make a scene cause the manager may try to convince you—you didn’t see it (; and look at reviews.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. Highest of recommendations for this great restaurant.
Cute place. Good food, good service. I had a new server and she did fantastic, so attentive and helpful. My receipt said Emily but I forgot what she said her name was.
Stopped in on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm. Was bustling. After a quick wait of maybe 10 minutes we were asked if a high top table would be ok for our party of 3. We then were seated on second floor. Our server Trent was fabulous! Alert, efficient and friendly. We ordered Clam Chowder which was chock full of clams and soft potatoes. Chicken Pot Pie, Kelli O'Brien pizza which had Fried Eggplant and Ricotta..absolutely delicious!! Cecilia's Chop Salad with grilled chicken. Also, Calamari for an appetizer. All was HOT and Fresh! Such a great first experience here. Parking is typical city style, with on street parking. But even while busy didn't take long to find a spot and a quick walk to restaurant. Will definitely go back and try some other awesome eats!
