Nice place to visit. We visited when we went through Laguna Beach. Very nice, passionate and knowledgeable volunteers. This non-profit organization is definitely a good place to check out and support. And they have a pretty nice gift shop with all proceeds going to supporting their efforts.
It was ok. They only had 4 deals to see. I'm sure it would be better if they had more. The information provided by staff was informative.
This nonprofit organization is amazing. What they do to rehabilitate all the animals they raise here is wonderful. It is so nice to see that the seats lions and seals are treated here with so much care and love. I would recommend visiting this place if you have never been. It is just heartwarming.
Volunteers who work here are so nice .. Great facility. Definitely worth doing the tours in my opinions..You do not get to touch the sea animals but that's alright !! .. I can't wait to be able to volunteer here some day. Im very much looking forward to it ..
Unfortunately I did not have a time for an entire tour. But these folks do amazing work with Marine Mammal rescue. They are a worthy organization and the facility is very interesting and worth the trip up or down depending upon which part of Laguna Canyon Road you're on. Very inspiring!
Awesome place to visit and donate to. They do such important work and save our beautiful sea mammals!!
Amazing place, really good work to care for sick and stranded sea lions (plus seals). Happily not many patients at the moment, but always worth a visit (and can always check to see who's there on the live webcam too). Thanks Stefanie P for the tour also.
Neat place to see the seal pups play, and to learn about whales and seals. Good for kids.
Friendly volunteers make this a fun little Laguna Beach spot for animal-lovers. See the recovering animals up close and enjoy a little education in marine biologyleave a little love so these people can keep doing their work, definitely worth it.
I'm sorry that I can't give this a five-star review :-(
The work these people are doing is fantastic, and it's all volunteer. The reason I'm only giving it a 3 star is that I suspect a lot of people will be looking at reviews - so I have to tell you that this place is quite small, and if you're in the area, please do go by, see the animal friends, and support this great cause. But, if you're hours away and plan on making the journey out, just know that you'll likely spend no more than a 1/2 hour seeing the animals and reading up on what they do here.
Great little roadside stop to show the kids or fellow animal lovers. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Great rescue center.
Small, which is good.
The docents are very friendly and knowledgeable, and engaging
Really enjoyed the hour I spent there. Well worth a visit if your in the canyon!
This organization does so much with every animal they save! The value of every dollar donated is at the greatest maximum benefit to the animals they care for! The hundreds of bottles of Pedialyte they go through each year adds up but the healthy animals returned to the ocean to live a life in the wild makes it all worth the cost. The volunteers are so enthusiastic about the cause of PMMC you will come away feeling very good about the future of this organization.
A nice little stop and the sea lions were VERY playful and active when we were there! The volunteer who interacted with us was very personable and knowledgeable as well. They had interesting educational panels which were informative but not too overwhelming.
Smaller than I expected, but the staff was very knowledgeable about the animals in their care. What they do is amazing! Definitely worth a visit! P.s. I love my bag I got from there!
