Located on the bay in South Jersey. Very good food that is very fresh and seafood is locally sourced. Expect to pay between 18-30 dollars for an Entree.

Truly rustic setting situated on the edge of the salt marsh adjoining Great Egg Bay. The restaurant combines an indoor portion along with a more casual semi outdoor section and bar. I have always favored the outdoor section in warmer weather along with the mildly raucous crowd. The food is good and there is a great selection of clams and oysters if your fancy is shellfish. One of the few places that offers snapping turtle soup. Summer is a very busy time here especially on weekends so be prepared for a wait.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Crab bisque was thick and creamy. Best I ever had. Chef Scott's Signature dishes really make it difficult to choose. My husband had Chef Scott's stuffed Salmon and Snapper Turtle soup. We will be returning very soon.

Sat in the crab room. Clams Mexicali was delicious. Crabs were good. Lobster roll sandwhich tasted good (meal included 1 side) but the price vs. quantity was lacking. Normal sized sandwich,small portion of pasta salad, which lacked some flavor for my personal taste. Ordered extra side of coleslaw, same problem. Small portion, lacked a bit in the flavor. Service lacked more than the food. Sitting down (waiting for our order to be taken), during service, and waiting for check took much longer than necessary. Had to flag people down. Had a mixture of 3 people serving us. Appeared to be taking a break at the bar.

Casual, great weather. Enjoyed the food. Fresh, delicious seafood!. Wait staff left a bit to be desired (requested water didn't come, nor requested bread/oyster crackers, asked twice for check.) it was busy, but not crazy. However, I'm sure it was a rarity. Good was awesome!

We have been going here for 20 years and it never disappoints. The dinners are superb whether fish or steak. The portions are generous, sushi and cocktails delicious. A wonderful setting adds to the seashore charm. It is crowded no matter when you go. I have been there in the middle of January and it was crowded.

Simply amazing. Wonderful food with an "Old Time" fish dock vibe. The greatest place you will never accidentally drive by. You gotta go looking for this gem.

Keep following the directions from your GPS, I promise despite the appearance you are not going the wrong way, lol!

(Note, if on a first date the drive down that dark road through the marshes in the middle of nowhere to get to the restaurant may cause your date to wonder if you are a serial killer, but the food is worth it. :) )

Truly one of the best restaurants on the Jersey Shore. I don't care what you order it's all VERY GOOD. Scott is a awesome chef and the staff are top notch. Prices are very responsible for the quality of food! All dishes are made to order fresh ingredients and local food is a standard. We have been coming her with family and friends for years. Even on a very warm day in February place was packed and as always everything was awesome.

Great place to eat. Offers a mix of traditional seafood favorites and new interesting dishes. It has. Cozy feel and and a wonderful nautical atmosphere. There can be a wait at times but get a drink at the bar and enjoy the view while you wait. Do not try to go during heavy rains as road to and parking lot can be prone to flooding.

I also call this place the cat restaurant. Use to have a dozen or two of stray cats many years ago which was kinda cool. But friendly staff. And most important, good food. Be aware though they don't serve some food outside that they do serve inside. One of the items would be the french fried lobster tail. And dipped in butter. Very delicious. Place is right on the water. You could pull up on your boat in you want. And it very close to the Jersey Devils house (the Leeds family)
