I took my bike there for a tuneup and the bike didn’t ride well after the tuneup. The chain kept coming off. Upon taking it to another shop it was discovered that the only thing they did was replace wire cables but didn’t replace necessary components. Don’t waste your time going to this bicycle shop.

Best bike shop anywhere! Friendly, informed staff with their number one priority of excellent customer service and competitive pricing. Over the years, I have purchased numerous bikes for my children and several, both road and off-Road for myself. All have been maintained for years by Brett Autry and his staff under their lifetime service warranty and each time, with a smile and friendly customer service. So if you are looking for the best inventory of bikes at competitive pricing and the friendliest, most knowledgeable service for life; look no further than Outspokin. You will join the ranks of thousands of fully satisfied customers.

I purchased a bicycle from there and had great customer service. I've gone in several times for service with no questions asked, until today the employee asked if I had purchased the bike from them. I was surprised by that, once I told him I purchased from them I received service that I received when I ordered my bicycle.

Asked about a bike rental and apparently there's only one person there that can handle bike rentals. They said he would be back in a couple mins but 30 mins later there wasn't anyone. We asked if they could call the employee and see if he could help but they just recommended another bike shop.

WARNING:: DISHONEST & SHADY BUSINESS REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU::
The owner himself of Outspokin, Brett Ardrey shamelessly & smugly admits he does not care about good customer service which he proved true after my mistake of choosing Outspokin to make 3 very minor repairs to my bike. After picking up my bike 2 days later than when I was told it would be done, I discover only 2 of the 3 problems were repaired. AND Outspokin charged me almost double the cost than the price I was quoted when I brought it in. They had to keep my bike an additional 2 days to complete the half-effort job performance that should have been finished the first time, and then slapped me with an additional $20 labor fee which I had already paid for the first time. How much sense does it make to charge the customer 2 labor charges for their shameless labor negligence on my initial order? And they help themselves to replace old equipment with new overpriced equipment without asking first. They are crooks.
This is very bad business. "The customer is always right" falls on deaf ears at Outspokin.
I should have chosen Andy Jordan, and I will from now on.

There are three bicycle shops in Augusta and I foolishly thought I would give some business to the newest and smallest shop, Outspokin. Huge mistake!
I took my magnesium alloy, rear wheel in for repair as the rear axle appeared to be bent. After four days and no word from Outspokin, I went to their shop and was told that they had left me a phone message. (They had not.) The mechanic then said they were unable to find a similar axle and asked, "Who makes this wheel?" When I told him he suggested that I call them. My bike is Italian and although magnesium wheels are not common they are gaining in popularity and several top bike companies manufacture them and they all use the same axle. If I know that fact I would think that a bike shop would also have the same knowledge. The issue was they could not find an axle in their parts catalogue so they gave up and made no effort to inform me.
He showed me the axle and it did not appear to be bent and I suggested that the bearing ring had become skewed thus making the axle appear bent, so they said they would reassemble it. He told me it would be ready the next afternoon. (Lie number two.) I called the day it was to be ready and was told it would be another day before it would be ready. Two days later I had not heard from them so once again I went to the shop and the wheel was ready but they had made no effort to notify me.
They had the wheel eight days for a problem that could have easily been diagnosed and corrected in an hour.
My impression is that they have poor customer service and do not wish to work on bikes they do not sell or are not familiar with.

I recently purchased my wife a new Trek Skye S and a used Trek mtn bike for my 7 year old daughter and the service they provided was excellent. They walked both my wife and daughter through all the bike dimensions and found the best fit for both of them. I plan on getting myself and my son a Trek from Outspokin as well. These guys are friendly and aim to please their customers.
Update: I have only one complaint. When I bought my Full suspension bike the suspension was not fitted for me before I left. How to do so was not explained very well either. That being said after doing some research online I realized how hard it would be to explain how to do it properly. I still gives these guys 5 stars, they will continue to get my business.

Awesome super friendly staff. Went to swap a brand new tube I installed. Just because I wasn't sure I did it right. I thought they wouldn't have swapped it and still charged me. But they didn't. Awesome. Honest bike shop. Just getting into biking. Go here for all your bike needs
