One of very few places I have ever given 5 stars. In my opinion they have the best food in Roanoke Rapids and have great prices. Especially if you go with the daily specials. I recommend the turkey club but I have never had anything from here that was disappointing.

We were coming from vacation from North Myrtle Beach and decided to get supper so we looked for a high star rating restaurant and we found Oscar's. ..We were so glad we stopped the food was amazing,so was our waitress and our serviceWe definitely recommend this friendly place to eat..

Visting family from out of town and we came here for breakfast. Grits were really lacking salt, but that was easy to fix since it was on the table. I got Smithfield ham but it was salty like country ham. I wouldn't get that again. Food was ok. Server was very friendly. The picture attached is the 2 eggs plate where you can chose a meat to go with it. It's about a $6 plate.

Went here to eat lunch with family. Waitress took forever to get our tea orders. Waitress seemed annoyed shaking her head as she walked by waiting on others. We asked for a certain fish so the waitress went to ask. She told us they couldn't do it because the kitchen wouldn't give her an answer. Went to leave and asked for management, management acted like they could care less. Didn't ask why we were leaving and no apologies. These people working today had zero customer service. Terrible experience. Heard the food was really good here, wouldn't know. Would never recommend this place. Would give zero stars if I could.

Worth the trip off the interstate and away from the chains for a good breakfast. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, and prices reasonable. Will stop by again - maybe just to try some of those tempting desserts.

My favorite breakfast spot. Old school charm and waitresses know you when you're a regular and make you feel like they do when you're not. Coffee and food are the best! Highly recommend.
