Sat at the bar for 25minutes in plaint sight of the waiter and completely ignored. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Left to find place with better service as we needed to catch a show. Glad we got here early

Great food and friendly service. The food arrived really quickly and was of a very high standard. Very tasty and satisfying. The craft IPA is local and very tasty.

The oxtail, absinthe laced baked alaska, and the english milk punch were my faves. Ambiance was very nice and service was great. Look for metered parking along Opal Restaurant & Bar.

Warm seafood salad and bread and wine were divine. My son also enjoyed his meal. I would go back here even though SB has tons of fun places. It is restaurants like this and service like this one has that makes me love Santa Barbara.

Good yet not great. I feel like this one restaurant is trying to have a great variety of dishes and doing so makes the quality of everything not that great. So you order meat, and it good, just not great.
Also a bit stuffy for my taste. Not enough room between tables, you just feel stuffy.

Casual dining meets fancy meal. Love at first sight. Probably the best filet mignon I've had in about a dozen years. I was on a business trip and dining alone at the bar and the staff could not possibly have been nicer even though it was a little extra busy during film fest.
