Highly recommended. Even if you're not one of the sites right on the lake ours beautiful. Great sunsets.
Hearing the waves crash on the beach all night is the best thing about camping here.
Great campground. Spots 65-70 right on the lake. Crashing waves and sandy beach. Family friendly.
Banan credible Beach on the south shore of Lake Superior period a quaint Park with an incredible View. A great place to enjoy a beautiful Lake
A very scenic Lake Superior park , with a sandy beach .
Excellent park across the board. My wife and I were full time RVing for several years so we've seen quite a few RV parks and campgrounds across the country. This park was just great, we are self contained with the motorhome so I can't speak for bathrooms or showers, but the park itself was very nice, staff super helpful. We looked at allot of sites and there really isn't a bad site in the whole park. The lakefront sites are the most popular and are harder to get in to. So we stayed across the road from the lake front and it was still a great site. Could see the lake past the other campers and hear it during the evening/night hours.
Overall we will be back again, and the price was great too. We paid $21 a night for our site with 50/30/15amp service and water. No sewer, but for short duration trips that's not really much of an issue. There is a dump station and they will empty tanks on site, but we didn't use either.
Overall I'd recommend it higher than the State park just down the road, honestly this is a better place to camp.
