Fabulous! I tried On The Rocks when they first opened I guess it’s been five years ago. To be honest the quality and taste of the food was hit or miss over the first few years. I attended a wedding party dinner at On The Rocks last night… Well let me tell you they have got everything dialed in! The service was spectacular, the food was delicious! Everyone in our party of 16 absolutely enjoyed every single meal that was ordered! I highly recommend On The Rocks and will be dining here often! So convenient to Pine Knoll Shores and Atlantic Beach areas. Hats off to the owner and staff for great food and great service!!!!!!🤙🏽😃 update 9-24-2022 back again after a fabulous experience. This time takeout… called in on a Saturday night . very politely and fast service on the phone . Order was ready in 20min as promised. Food was delicious. 🤙🏽😃 On the Rocks has been constant so far! Check them out!!!

Overall not bad for randomly picking this place. They had live music which was fun, but made conversation a little hard when you get seating right next to the stage (we could have asked not to be there, that’s on us)
The calamari was good, but try something else. There is not anything crazy special about it, or the marinara that comes with it.
The tacos were pretty decent, we wanted something seafood-ish and the shrimp one was a little more spicy and a little better for my taste, I thought the mahi itself was a little bland. But wifey liked it.
The food is not the reason it’s only 4 stars.
Seemed under staffed but the employees were working super hard. But:
We had to ask multiple times for water.
Had to ask for things like ketchup, napkins, and plates for appetizers, things that were just not at our table when we sat down.
The waitress had no idea what was in the drink special for the day and said “it’s a ___ but I have no idea what’s in that” Well OK then! Hahah we will not be ordering that.
It honestly was pretty good, and the prices were fair for what we got. So 4/5.response / report this review -

This place is amazing. Who ever the cook is they should give him or her a merit raise once or twice a year to keep him on. Steak was perfected so much that it needed no sauce, loaded nachos exquisite and the shrimp and fish so delicious. The waiters served with excellent attitudes Avia was with us and made sure we had what was needed at all times. My sister has seafood allergies and everything was clean. We are from Rocky Mount and we are telling everyone of our experience. Thank you guys so much. We will be back

I will said Woao!!! This place is great!!! We stumbled on this place and I love it!!! The seafood was supe fresh and tasty, our server, Susan, was amazing!!! We really enjoyed the overall experience and food and we will definitely come back when we are in the area. Please don't missed their Three C's Chowder, it was delicious, one of the best chowders I have ever tried in my life!!!! Amazing!!! We tried the steam crab legs, ahi tuna, and for dessert, please try the Tidal Wave Funnel Cake (in the picture), I not a fan of sweets, I took a bite and couldn't stop eating it. It was like what did just happened? Super good!!! If you are in the area please don't miss it! Amazing experience!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

The BEST place for fresh sea food! 😋 I had the lemon butter red snapper and it was so delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And the staff was very friendly and checked on our drinks and made sure that everything was good! The BEST restaurant on the crystal coast! 💯
