This place is cozy from the time you walk into the lobby. It's a getaway that is offset from the highway of the PA Turnpike. The grounds are beautiful. It has the feel of a large bed and breakfast. Personnel are super nice and accommodating. We love this place and it's only day one of our visit!

I chose to stay here overnight to surprise my wife on our first anniversary. Staff was always very kind and helpful and was able to help me with a few special requests to make the evening more magical. Beautiful Christmas decorations made an already great atmosphere better. Dinner at the tavern and the breakfast buffet were delicious. Basically I felt like we were at a resort meshed with a cozy historical bed and breakfast. That said, even though our room was clean, there was some wear and tear on furnishings and drapery. Food trays and/or empty cups sat in the hallways and lobby for well over an hour. The cleaning crew appeared to be understaffed although I'm certain they do their best. And to be super nit-picky, they could use some seasoned hard wood splits at their beautiful fire ring. The soft wood splits they provide were not seasoned enough and the staff was unable to get a good fire going despite fanning the flames for us. Overall, I'm very happy with our stay and felt it was a good value for what you get. Definitely going back again.

Service is great. Decor and environment really takes advantage of the age of big hotels from the late 1800s. Amenities are great. Pool is great. I wish there were more rainy day activities, however.

Lovely staff and amenities. Enough to do for a long weekend. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. Recommend the spa but make a reservation early. The layout is slightly confusing - ask for the map before going to your room.

This resort has a charming historic feel but still has updated furnishings. The spa was wonderfully relaxing and employees were friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that we booked with a $100 resort credit included. Upon check out, we saw that we our room was oddly charged $50 additional dollars for a breakfast that was completely paid for in cash at the time of the meal. I wonder if an employee tried to pocket additional cash by discreetly charging our room for the meal, which was not shown as a line in the final bill. However, the front desk employee quickly resolved the issue without any hassle.

Although it is an historic building it is very very overpriced. The rooms are at all sound proof, everything next door and in the hallway can be heard from inside the guest room. I am disappointed, I've stayed at high end hotels and resorts and this pales next to other places.

Southern charm in the heart of Pennsylvania, though think Kentucky southern rather than Tennessee southern in that it's not diverse at all, and everything runs really late. Like you can check-in only an hour after check-in proper theoretically begins, and there's no apology; just an invitation to visit the extremely expensive bar. Or desks that should be opening at a certain time, casually opening without announcement 40 or so minutes late. But. The rooms are gorgeous. The setting is quite nice. The beds, as at all Omnis, are incredible. I can't say I'm likely to go again, but if a vacation in which you are practically forced to relax because the pace of it is going to push back against you, then by all means, this is your place.

Our second time at the resort. Money well spent for a relaxing time with excellent scenery. Our typical routine here is breakfast, morning hike, lunch, swimming, dinner, repeat! The golf course looks very nice, though we have not played it. The spa is nice. Everything is overpriced, but ultimately worth it to us.

Awesome hotel. It is pricy but well worth the expense. The hotel offers amenities outside such as hiking, swimming, fly fishing, archery , yoga and 5 different restaurants including a bar, tavern and fine dining. The indoor pools water source is fed through a spring and the hotel is very easy to navigate with staff willing to help you. The hotel is located closely to the Pennsylvania turnpike and route 99. I would highly recommend this place for your next stay

Excellent resort! Love the setting, very peaceful and relaxing with nearby hiking and biking trails. The facilities are great - the indoor pool is absolutely marvelous! Rooms are nicely furnished and staff is very friendly. Note that some rooms like the one I got have a view to a brick wall, but the way the resort is built and due the large number of rooms that's to be expected.
Great for large groups with good dining and meeting room venues as well as outdoor fire pit.
Note that bar closes at midnight, so there's not a lot to do there and in town after midnight

I visit the Springs Resort for their running trails. They have the best outdoor experience around the Bedford area. Great running trails. Challenging but fun.

The resort is beautiful! There is plenty to do if you're interested in outdoor activities or spa treatments. The rooms have an antique feel when modern amenities. The staff was kind and helpful. Parking is a bit annoying if you don't valet but that's the only downside we experienced. Things are a bit pricey but we knew that going in and planned for it so we weren't surprised.

The history is rich and incredible, and it shows. Every square inch of this resort is permeated by scenes unchanged from hundreds of years ago, through the years to the present. Bridal names etched into antique windows overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens and yards, vintage parlors and dining rooms, even an enormous 39-star American flag, beautifully maintained and proudly displayed behind the front desk. If the ability to wander the halls sipping on complimentary wine doesn't tickle your fancy, then the food and activities certainly will. The resort is built into a valley, and of course, on a spring. Therefore there is no lack of scenery to take in whilst you explore the multiple trails and paths around the area. Golf courses, indoor and outdoor pools, etc adorn the rolling hills nestled comfortably between rocky hillsides. The food is nigh indescribable. Few places truly achieve the infamous "melt-in-your-mouth" beef that everybody has heard mention of. Nor do many places have the ability to make people enjoy and even want second helpings of food they otherwise dislike and avoid, but the kitchen staff pull it off at the Bedford Springs Resort. Exquisite plating, beautiful dining halls, and a wide selection of gourmet food, all leave little to complain about for even the most picky of diners. Just remember, though, that you will be paying for this level of quality and pleasure. However it is good to know that it is well worth every penny!

You get what you pay for. The resort is fairly expensive but incredibly worth it. The hotel is beautiful, it's well kept, and very comfortable. The service matches the hotel. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful scenery, lots of history in the building, on-site shopping, dining and walking trails, indoor pool. Valet parking offered. More activities to do in the summer but so worth it any time of the year! Their room service staff was definitely on their B squad for the off-season but all of the wait staff, concierge and valet were very polite and accommodating. Highly recommended to stay here at least once!
