Great food actually the best. I drive up from San Augustine to Americas Georgia. To my hut in camp and I cannot wait by the time I leave the house on thinking about Is stopping at old time country buffet for their good Southern food and good hospitality I highly recommend this to anyone that wants some good Southern food

Decent buffet with a focus on country style foods. I visited on a weekend and the line was minimal. Tables were readily available and the food was hot and fresh. There's something for everyone from the gluttonous to the dedicated calorie counter.
Our waitress was friendly and kept our tea refilled, earning a decent tip. All food was labelled and serving utensils were clean and free of grease (it can be an appetite destroyer in buffets when I grab a greasy spoon).
I recommend this restaurant for a quick meal with family or friends. For a more formal environment, you might want to go elsewhere.response / report this review -

Thursday night we went for steak and shrimp. The sign said seniors 7.99. We usually pay around 21.00 for 2 with drinks. We were told that no longer applies for steak and shrimp night and the total would be around 30.00 We left and did not eat there. Remove the sign if there is no senior discount. We will not return.

The food was awesome! Fresh and hot food was on the buffet line. The only thing I didn't like were the filthy bathrooms. The sink look like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time the toilet seat was speckled with who knows what and there was a dirty dusty fan in the corner by the sink. Now mind you the crew that I went in with were the first to enter that morning. The guy was just unlocking the door when we walked up so the bathrooms should have been spotless

Mashed potatoes were cold. Roast beef like leather deserts left a lot to be desired. Won't be making it a regular stop

Vegetables tasted like they put the can opener in them. Fried Chicken and Fish tasted very good. Overall quality not the best. In months and years past old times has been very good to eat. Today is rated as one star.

Love this place. Definitely a guilty pleasure. Home style cooking that my doctor would encourage me to increase my physical activity level immediately after consuming. Driving after eating here should be considered a delicious form of DUI.😋😋😋😋

We've been to a few different Ole Times Buffets and usually love them. This one was not as good today. The lettuce was brown and the cold salads tasted store bought. The sliced tomatoes were delicious. The hot bar and the service was just ok. The desserts were pretty good. My biggest complaint was that the restroom was dirty. It wasn't dirty like someone made a mess, it was dirty like it needed a deep cleaning. As a former restaurant manager, I think that restroom cleanliness is representative of the cleanliness your entire restaurant.

Always clean, always fresh.
Only issue I had was cost. I called to check on cost before we got there due to 3 adults and 2 very small children. I was told 5 for children and 9 for adults. It was actually 8 for children and 12 for adults. But the food was fresh Enjoy!!response / report this review -

All the food is DELICIOUS! The collards were a bit on the salty side but so if you have high blood pressure don't add any salt and perform a taste test but I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results!!!

Would happily drive up to 90 miles to eat here. One of the last and one of the best southern cafeterias. Okra three ways!

Very reasonably priced, food selection was tremendous, hot and very favorable, service was extremely pleasant and courteous, the place was clean and well staffed. Not sure anyone could have anything to complain about here. I ate at several Ole Times buffets, wish there were one close to home.

Easy to get to off the interstate 75. Plenty of parking and lots of food. Its a buffet. Not my kind of food. The food was good. Service was OK. Could have been better but it was okay for buffet style setting. The rest of the staff was sweet as can be. Hometown, friendly atmosphere. Cozy but a little out dated. Great truck parking though.
I wouldn't go back only because I am not a fan of buffetts or southern cooking in this style. BUT the food was good.response / report this review
