Great golf club! Very nice people and the course is a lot of fun!
the finest public golf course in the low country. the back 9 offers some of the best marsh views around.
Nice looking course, however the golf starter was very rude and almost ruined the entire experience. Alcohol was the only thing that helped.
Golf course was in good shape. The problem was the greens. I made a tee time last week for Tuesday the 10th Oct. The greens were sanded and reseeded , they could have to me that, or given me a discount on the price paying full price was ridicules.
Played here with my friends on our last day of vacation at HHI. 23 bucks for 9 holes and we were treated to wonderful views on 6, 7, and 8. Fairways are absolutely perfect and the greens are very well kept. Staff is also friendly and helpful. 10/10.
Reasonably priced (compared to places on the island itself) with decent greens and fairly challenging (depending which tees). A couple of funky holes with blind shots over marsh (I hit what I thought were good shots and then realized I ended in marsh!) but would definitely play there again.
I played Old South two days in a row while on vacation. There is a nice variety of challenging holes but not too challenging for the average golfer. The course was in great shape and the service from the staff was excellent. This is a must play for golfers coming to Hilton Head.
Course was in perfect shape in May. Some difficult holes will challenge the most experienced golfer. Absolutely beautiful setting.
The golf course is the best public course I've ever played on and the food is to die for.
Nice golf course for the price. They offer locals pricing as well. The restaurant has excellent food!
