The library has a lovely "Story Stroll" right outside the main entrance to the East. Such a fun and creative idea. I love it and I'm 55 years-old. I'm going outside NOW and see if any children will walk the "Story Stroll."

Has a real quaint small town feel, being in the heart of Old Olathe. However, the equipment is very modern and staff warm and friendly.

The Olathe Public Library has timely and up-to-date possession of almost every book my family and I want to read, and what they don't have they get for me through vast resources (such as World Cat). When my home computer went down I was able to use the one of the library's many computers and the staff has always been personable and ready to help with any question or issue. My favorite aspect of the OPL is the wonderful service they give via internet--from account access and book reservation to computer accessed magazines and , now, classes. They surpass anything I've ever seen in California (and I've lived in many cities of Northern, Central, and Southern CA. Go Olathe!!
