I was sent away frim the Oak Grove Speedco (now owned by Loves) telling me things about my RV engine oil change filters I knew were incorrect. I Googled and found the closest Diesel Repair close to my trip route. Several did not or could not help me, but still gave me others to call. Odessa Diesel had my filters in stock, worked until they found my inline fuel filter, ordered it and sent me 2 blocks over to have one of their former employees take care of me..I am staying on their lot to wait for the inline filter to be delivered tomorrow morning and will get on my way.. NO more Speedco, they have my forever business..

i have taken my truck for repairs twice to this shop. The first time it ran awful when I got it and was told that was just "how a 7.3 sounds." I got it home and my son discovered that the power steering filler cap had been damaged and wouldn't seat so power steering fluid was squirting out every time I turned or braked. Forgave an error as human and took it back to get the oil pan changed. They decided without contacting me to do another $900 of work over what I requested done, charging me nearly twice what the quote was and using used parts for half of it when I could've gotten new parts at a discount elsewhere. Then I get home and discover that they have failed to reconnect the 4x4 linkage back up. My son fixed that. Then the first time I haul, the turbo intercooler line pops off the intercooler either because they failed to tighten the clamp or because the reused clamp broke because it wasn't replaced. The mechanic comes to look at the truck (I can't get it back there at this point because it doesn't go over 30 mph) tells me the clamp is gone, doesn't bring even a screwdriver with him, so we end up having to get the clamp and repair it ourselves. This was all about a year ago, and then this week I took it to get a brand new exhaust put on, and the exhaust shop tells me there is a bolt broken off on my manifold. Guess who was the only place that would have been anywhere near the manifold of this truck. Yeah. You guessed it. Odessa Diesel. I will never take another vehicle through their doors. And I would NEVER recommend anyone use this shop.
