got my tire replaces, I got a flat after the changes my tires I was undoing the lug nuts as I noticed it was coming off crooked because the cross thredded the lug nug when they banged it on there with air impact so I only had 3 lug nuts on the car because the only way I could get them off was to keep turn until the there a just broke. so I went back to Oakwood and they replaced the flat and the she'll studs and tried to charge me for the wheel studs even after I told the man at the front desk the were the last people who touched my cars tires, went home had to come back because the tire the gave me went flat the next day , horibble costomer service no respect to me or what I explained what happened I wouldn't recommend going here

Absolutely awful. I asked for an approx. Wait as I handed my keys over and was told an hr. I returned in hr and half later. Causually waited 30 min, and heard a gentlemen say he's been there an hr and there checking his tire issue. I got skipped, and then was told itd he 30 min to get to me and them another 30 for work completion. I'm not much for people being skipped, its dishonest and disrespectful especially when they exclamimed first come first serve.
Terrible. They only received a star so I could make people aware.response / report this review -

I drove all the way to Oakwood Tire from Macon, Ga because my family who lives in the area said they are fair and honest. I took my car there thinking I had a front end suspension or steering problem. After checking out my my car they told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car and recommended I get my tires rotated and balanced and an alignment. They only charged me $25 to Check it out and said they would deduct the $25 from my bill if I decide to get the work done. They are very honest.

My mom has been a regular customer there for years, and recently I needed an alignment done on my car. They have fair prices and do not try to gouge if there is extra work that is required. Turns out my car had a bent control arm that had to be replaced and it ended up costing more than just the alignment, but this is not the shops fault. In my opinion when someone posts a review like "Oh it costed way more than they quoted" they probably needed more work done than they mentioned over the phone.

Done business a few times with these guys. Always had a great experience. No complaints. The guys here are quite friendly and willing to help. 9 times out of 10 they have what you need, if not, they'll get it there quickly.

Great prices for the tires I wanted and quick first come first served service. Free tire rotation was done in 20 minutes even with lots of other customers.

This shop mounted two new ATV tires for my 85 year old dad. One tire keeps going flat and now Oakwood Tire says that it was a bad tire to start with. The tire's bead is torn from where they mounted it to the rim with there machine. An ATV dealer stated that the tire was ruined when it was mounted. Now Oakwood Tire will not do anything to stand behind their workmanship. If the tires were in fact defective, they should have never mounted them.
WARNING!!! Oakwood Tire is not a good place to do business with and will never go back.response / report this review
