I grew up on the Gulf Coast, my father was in the seafood industry and fresh seafood was the norm in our home. It has been nearly impossible to find seafood that comes close in freshness, flavor and varietyNorthwest Seafood absolutely NEVER disappoints. Always Fresh and amazing!

They almost always have at least a couple of different selections of sushi grade fish.

Beyond disappointing, yet again. I'm glad I held off writing this review for a little while, but now with full certainty I can say that this place offers inconsistent, frequently low quality and overpriced seafood. For the nth time we bought shrimp for $17 (!!!) a pound from here, to make out Christmas Eve meal, hoping for the best. Yet the shrimp was so mediocre and had a VERY STRONG metallic taste (and we used these shrimp in bisque!) that it totally ruined the entire dish. And this happened not for the first time, we had bad luck with shrimp from Northwest seafood before. From now own, I will know to buy lowest quality, frozen shrimp from publix and avoid this place that sells bottom of the barrel shrimp that should be used in Whiskas.
Thanks for ruining our Christmas meal!
