I needed a new primary physician after my pediatrician kicked me out of her practice once I graduated college (I know, but she was SO good it was worth sitting in the waiting room filled with wailing kids and chairs for midgets), so I started digging online and Dr. Lisa Lefkovitz's name came up.

Met Dr. Terry Moraczewski about my finger. While waiting for the result, the very talkative nurse told me I had dislocated finger. I don't think she is in the position to offer her opinion. Anyway, dr came and told me the same thing, dislocated finger and referred me to specialist Resurgens. The specialist said it was not dislocated finger, but boutonnaire and my finger needs a splint to keep it straight for 6 weeks. Then I had to go to the Physical Therapist and had them made a splint for me (which cost me >$100 because the insurance won't cover this. My experience was not pleasant since this should have been diagnosed properly from the beginning. Instead I wasted many hours going to other places and paid a lot more.

I've had it, I'm switching to another physician. I like my doctor and think she is very good at what she does (Michelle Jenkins, M.D.) but this is the THIRD time I've gone and have been treated abysmally by the check-in staff. It might seem unimportant to them whether a patient is greeted with a "Good Morning" but if this surly person is the first person I meet every time I walk in their office I'm not going to want to walk in there again. I have choices.

For the record, I did say something to the nurse and the doctor about this repeated rude behavior, and was met with indifference and excuses about how staff was stressed out about computer problems.

I have been going to North Fulton Family in Alpharetta for almost 9 years. I switched from a practice in Marietta when we moved out this way nd wanted someplace more convenient. I had thought I was getting good care as a diabetic from the Marietta practice. My first visit was with PA Derrell Nesbit, and the first thing he did was give me a very thorough discusson on diabetes, the problems I would have if I did not keep my blood sugar under control, and how to be sure I did. I had not been taking medication. He put me on some for diabetes as well as a tiny dose of blood pressure medication which he said would protect my kidneys. He was my primary care for a few years before he switched to part time at the Alpharetta location. I have seen Oliver Heinle, Shalyn Amahdi, Lindsey Carlson Le Page (now my primary) and several others. I have been treated for a number of issues and always received excellent care. My husband also goes to them and feels as I do. Our son went to them through his teens and I felt he was in good hands.
They do not hide behind voice mails; if you want personal care, go in and see them in person. I have left many voice mails over the years and they do get back to me,usually the same day but certainly in less than 48 hours 99% of the time.
I am very pleased with them and expect to continue as their patient as long as I live in the area.

For last two years, we have to wait for weeks and call them back to ask for our complete physical results. If you dont ask, the clinic assume you dont care or dont want to know at all. I had checked the HealthMatics every other day to see if they posted my results after two weeks. NOTHING!
