Nice beach here with a great view of the pier in Grand Haven without as many people. The sanddune behind the beach is fun to check out too. You can't go on the dune itself but there is a nice trail up and around it.

Gorgeous beach which has a nice little playground for the kids. Awesome sandy beach! Wish they had better bathroom and changing area though

This little park is so nice when it's not incredibly packed with people! It's a great relaxation spot. Plus there are hundreds of stairs to walk right behind it! 17 floors straight up! Good for active people.

Want to avoid the crowds at Holland State Park or Grand Haven State Park? This quiet little gem owned by Ottawa County Parks is a great getaway during beach season. The water is sparkling clear too!

Hands down my favorite beach. I was married here. For my family, this is a summer must! Nice beach, clean facilities, great playground, pavilion, grills, picnic areas, dune hikes, and fresh water. Please note, this is a county park so it is not covered by the Michigan recreation pass. Entry is $7 per car.

Great beach spot! Family friendly, not ever too busy. Just a nice quiet beach to enjoy the lake and sand. Only negative would be that they don't get rid of the dead dune grass, it can be tough to walk in areas

has a nice picnic area. nice beach, bathrooms. small playground but I didn't notice a lot of shade. place for a younger crowd with children.

Pay for parking, beach is a good hike from the parking. Not much room for people either. It's pretty small and there aren't any places nearby to walk from. It's less busy than Grand Haven, but not for lack of trying. Plus no where else to walk to.

This is the best park within 50 miles. To top off the wonderful beach across the street is a large dunewith 2 walk ways to the top from which you can see for miles. I probably go here more in the winter than summer just for the solitude and beauty.

This beach is perfect for families. There's clean restrooms, a small playground, a reasonable amount of beach, and parking is very close to beach. If you come on the weekends, come early as parking fills up quickly. The park is situated between privately owned homes but walking the beach is allowed per state law as long as people stay near shore and do not go into the private beach properties. No boat launch but many patrons use kayaks and paddleboards.
