  My favorite beech on Lake Michigan. It's can well attended, plenty of area restraunts and access to a number of food trucks closer to the sand. It's a great place to sun and fun.

  We camped just one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were well kept and we had a spot right on the edge of the beach. Amazing view of Lake Michigan and the spectacular sunset. The campground is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping which we really liked. We will definitely be back soon!

  Currently the parking lot is under construction and bathroom could have been better maintained. Views are spectacular and Lake Michigan never disappoints. A little crowded for my liking.

  One of the most popular beaches around. Restooms are usually well kept. The sand is groomed every couple of days. Camping near the beach is an option.

  We loved this place. Nothing fancy but clean and fun. Tight spots and on top of one another but again clean and fun. Great place to see the sunset! Everyone was friendly and lively. We camped here in a 36' motor home with no tow vehicle. CatnLis

  There is plenty of parking here and the facilities were well kept. There are also a lot of volleyball courts and picnic tables. The surrounding area is very nice and there is plenty to do.

  One of the coolest spots!
  I had only been here once before when I was a young child. I remember loving it here and having a great time with the family. There is parking right near the beach which is really nice!
  The view out here is outstanding. The level of peace on Lake Michigan is unreal. You can feel the energy of the lively water. It is Michigan and the water is kind cold so I only stuck my feet in. Next time I'll be sure to take a swim!

  I absolutely love Grand Haven's beach front area here in the park! It's beautiful and well taken care of! There are always a lot of people here enjoying the pier and the water front! Sunsets are absolutely amazing here at Grand Haven State Park!
  
  We are from Indiana, so we had to pay $9 to enter the park. This was the only problem I had with the parkI felt that price was a bit steep. Back home State Parks only charge $5. Other than that, I love it here and I know you will too!

  A family friendly beach where sports, relaxation, and good times abound. It's very a well maintained beach with a small fee, if you don't own a recreational passport. There's volleyball courts, seating areas, bathrooms, many places to park, great views of Lake Michigan and the lighthouse, plus a scenic pier walk. Close to the downtown area too.

  I love this town. I like to rent a bike and ride down the scenic lake bike path south to Holland. It's a beautiful ride. The little shops are fun to visit also. When I come to visit Grand Rapids I always make a stop to Grand Haven.

  Wonderful park on the shores of Lake Michigan. I enjoy the boardwalk that leads downtown as well as the pier leading to the lighthouse.

  I recently attended an outdoor wedding on the beach at the park right near the light house. I didn't get to spend as much time in the park or explore as much as I would have liked but from what I did get to see the park was very nice.
  
  A very wide boardwalk out to the lighthouse makes you feel like you have a lot of room to breath and take in the scenery.
  
  The day was a bit gloomy but the sand was well kept and there was sufficient parking overall. I look forward to revisiting and exploring any time.
