I wanted to give 5 but unfortunately the walls are SUPER thin?? The four of us hadn't seen each other in a long time and were talking/laughing in our room and we got a noise complaint in like 10 mins. No drinks, music, tv, nothing. Wish the walls weren't so thin because they also sell beer!! We would have bought some to drink if we didn't get a noise complaint while we were sober. ugh.

Lots of space in the room though. Nice TV and plenty of desk space. Fridge and microwave which was super nice but BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS. They were very uncomfortable and our necks were sore from them.

Old school motel about five miles from campus, but the rate was very reasonable. The lobby is also a liquor store. Staff very friendly. Having a continental breakfast delivered to the room was a nice surprise.

Staff was very pleasant, room was clean, reasonable prices & the breakfast nook (how they delivered your complimentary breakfast) was easy & convenient. We will stay again next time coming back to Penn State!

The motel is in a good location close to the town and the university. They have the best rates around when it's not football season and they have clean and comfortable rooms.

For a motel this is a nice place to stay. The outside is a little sketchy but if you can get over that it's pretty nive rooms and service.

Best value at this price in the area, especially so close to nearby Gigi's Southern Kitchen, a restaurant with very cozy seating and an outdoor patio with a fireplace. Save on the hotel and have an amazing dinner within walking distance. Five minutes from the excellent Rothrock coffee.

Nice and clean. Not fancy (older looking furniture). Good value. Had a good night's sleep. Would stay there again.

A budget hotel with great value for the price. Large room and bath room, older furnishings and design, yet clean and spacious. Nice outdoor set-up for canine guests.

Nice budget hotel. Clean rooms. Room comes complete with a breakfast nook that your morning breakfast is served. This is my third visit, so they must be doing something right to earn my repeat business. Small package store on premises.

An aged motel with interesting services. I arrived to find a beer distributor as the check in site. This set me off as it seemed like it could be a seedy place. A quick check of the room showed a dated/aged room but it was cleaned and seemed reasonable (for the price). Other than a noticeable stain in the rug, the room was respectably cleaned when we arrived, and they supplied towels for all of us. The breakfast nook was a rather novel experience. I never stayed at a place which offered such a feature. It helped me wake the kids up earlier than normal - by getting them 'excited' to see if the food was placed in the nook yet.

Maybe if I stay here again, I'll plan to buy a beer upon my arrival!
