This was my first time visiting the salon! Sean was my stylist and she did a fantastic job. She is super knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. I’m super happy with how my hair turned out. The salon itself is super clean too :) Will definitely be returning!

Sean did the BEST blowout/hair style for me. I received a lot of comments. I get blowouts all the time where I live in Houston and they don’t compare!! She was friendly and professional….highly recommend

I visited this salon for the first time and Sean was my stylist. I showed her photos and tried explaining what I wanted (but wasn’t great at it). Sean explained to me going blonde was a process and to do it safely would take more than one visit and also showed me some photos of what my hair would potentially look like. She made sure I fully understood and was on board with the plan before she put any product in my hair. I really appreciated her honesty and how thorough she was. My hair turned out SO beautiful and I love it! Also, the hair washing station was the most comfortable one I have ever been in! Usually those sinks hurt my neck, but it was quite the opposite with soothing music playing and was separated from the rest of the salon; it provided a spa like atmosphere. Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back 😁

EXTREMELY PROFFESIONAL! Free consultation for GORGEOUS EXTENSIONS! I simply could not afford it. Not that the prices were unreasonable AT ALL. I just didn’t have the money not their problem!

I put them far above any other salons definitely with communication, understanding when I had to re-schedule and staff was beyond cool🙏🏽❤️🤩

My stylist, Stevie, was fairly new when I booked my first appointment, and I was a little nervous. But I wouldn't go to anyone else unless she wasn't available and I was in a hurry. I drive an hour and a half to have her do my hair. People who complain about being charged for a missed appointment don't understand that the stylist is there to cut their hair, and if they don't cancel, no one else can schedule. They don't get paid if you don't show up. I completely understand the policy of charging. They have always been completely professional and friendly to me whenever I go for my appointments. I also know better than to go to a completely new stylist and ask for something drastic to be done. Go simple until your stylist gets to know your hair attributes to be able to work their magic. Stevie has got mine down perfectly and I always walk out very happy and satisfied.

My first career many years ago was as a hair stylist, so I'm very picky about my hair cuts. Additionally, I have fine, straight hair, which means if the cut isn't right, it is tough to make it look good. When I moved here from the San Francisco area, where I'd had the same stylist for twenty years, I wondered how long it would take to find someone who could work with my hair -- but I landed with Courtney and this is the place to go! She didn't automatically assume she knew what I needed, but listened to me and looked at a photo I brought along with from when I'd had a fresh cut. She's also a very pleasant person to be around.

Amanda is my hair Stylist and she's absolutely fantastic. No one has ever been able to actually achieve the blonde I have always wanted until I came to her! Not only does she have amazing hair skills, but she is extremely friendly sweet nice and caring! Don't regret at all coming to this salon! When you book your appointment make sure to go to Amanda! She's the best! :)

A year ago I was desperate to find a stylist who could do my color since my former stylist moved away. A friend recommended G Michael Salon and the experts at G Michael recommended Lindsey for my color. I've been seeing her ever since - she is AMAZING! She is detailed, she knows how to frame my face and work with my hairline, she has great styling advice (I don't like to do much and she's got tricks for that too!), and she's just a cool woman. I highly recommend Lindsey and G Michael Salon!

I got my hair cut today by Emerson and it was fantastic. She and the rest of the people working were so friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing! My favorite part is the separate hair washing room which made the whole experience just that much better. Emerson did a great job on my hair! I’m extremely satisfied by my experience here!

Kristina is awesome! I recently moved to the area and am so glad I found G Michael Salon. I have a lot of long, dark brown hair and wanted to do balayage. Kristina made it clear what I could expect from my hair, and what she did in two appointments looks even better than the pictures I showed her! I also love the cut; she kept my length like I wanted, but took weight out, so it feels great. In addition to the excellent service, the salon is impeccably clean and has a great atmosphere. I also love the text reminders for appointments which add to to the overall pampering experience. Can't wait to go back!

G Michael Salon is amazing! The space is excellent. The products are great. Most of all, the stylists are superb. Courtney is my favorite, but I have been to several and all have done a great job. They are not afraid to suggest new styles and are attuned to what fits my personality. It is worth driving 45 minutes to come here!

I have not had a professional hair cut in over 20 years because I got tired of paying for bad haircuts that I could do myself and believe me, I have given myself some bad haircuts over the years. My hair is naturally and curly and is now salt and pepper blend. I was really tired of my 60+, Bea Arthur - Golden Girl look and decided to take a leap of faith and I am so glad I did! G Michael Salon is the best salon experience I have ever had! I have been flat ironing my curly hair in an attempt to control the frizz, etc. Amanda gave me an excellent haircut and beautiful style that is easy to maintain and I have retired the flat iron and have embraced the curl! I also wanted a few hi-lites to even out some of the grey areas. My grey hair is a bit (well, maybe a lot) color resistant, but Amanda found the right mixture and did an awesome job! I look forward to being a repeat customer and have already schedule my next appointment!

I should also mention that they offer online booking via their websitehuge plus in my book! I received an e-mail and text message confirming my appointment and reminding meand I received my receipt via e-mail right after my appointment. I really appreciate the convenience and professionalism of these features!

I arrived at my scheduled time. I'm not your average Carmel resident. I have tattoos and represent a more 90s grunge look. I will say though that my money is green.

I spent a whole day speaking with the salon about what I wanted and desiring a professional that specialized in colors.

My stylist told me as soon as I sat down she couldn't help me. I do appreciate her honesty but I took a personal day at work and rearranged my schedule because "the best salon in Indy" was going to do my hair.

They wouldn't even touch me. I felt like I was less than the whole time I was there.

So much judgement. I will never go to this salon again. Ever. I wouldn't take a person I despised here. The environment is very stuck up. I am good on this salon. I will reach out to other places.

How have I not reviewed this place?! Being new in town, I had tried a couple of salons but not been thrilled with the results. I noticed someone at work who consistently has great hair, and this salon was on her list of recommendations. So glad I asked! First, the ladies at the front desk always greet people as soon as they walk in the door, get folks checked in, and get everyone a beverage. It makes for a very welcoming and comfortable start. The space itself is also wonderful and fun to be in. I have seen Lauren on both of my visits here for a cut and style. I really appreciated that she listened to what I was looking for and seemed unhurried in the discussion phase. Bonus: the shampoo included a hot towel hand treatment and hand massage!! The shampoo room is also a separate space with a very relaxing and quiet vibe. Lauren took her time with the cut, and was very thorough. She is also hilarious and really fun to talk with during the process, and gave me lots of great restaurant/bar suggestions to check out while getting to know the area. She gave me great info about the products she was using (Oribe) but didn't pressure me to buy. The cut itself is not cheap but well worth the price to me. Most importantly, Lauren gave me an excellent haircut and beautiful style that is easy to maintain, and I look forward to being a repeat customer!

A-ma-zing! I am very cautious about my hair and am wary of people who do cut my hair. It is crazy how great this place was. It was very inviting and the hair treatment was very "zen-like". I would highly recommend spending the extra bucks for the service I received. Mackenzie was great, knowledgeable, and knew what type of hair cut was right for me. She has given me an A-list experience. I have long hair, natural black hair. She did my eyebrows as well, she's super! A+++++++

My stylist was Emmy. At first it looked like she was in a hurry and literally made me walk twice my pace .she dint seem much interested in the pictures or ideas i had for my haircut. kind of gave me the feeling that she was working on a man for the first time or after a long time and just wanted to get done for the day. But once she started working, she was asking more questions and reduced the pace a little. At the end i was satisfied with my haircut but she did not even clean my neck..next time i go i will definitely choose her and let her know about my past experience. She did a great job on my hair though and was fun to talk.

Wow!! The atmosphere is so intoxicating here!! I felt like royalty the moment I stepped inside G. Michael's swanky, ultra-modern, sleek entrance. Everyone is a diva here!! The staff is unbelievebly chic and dressed to impress!! It truly reminded me of my New York City Salon 'Alibi NYC Soho Salon:. It's alluring, full of energy, & fantastic! Expect the service you'll receive to be "white glove" from beginning to end. The experience will be beyond your wildest dreams! Tyler (a magician as far as I'm concerned :) colored & cut my hair & it was far & away the best cut/color/ & style I've ever gotten. My bill totaled nearly $300's on all services, color, and products, but was money well spent & worth every penny! I'm gushing, I know, but you will be too! I feel lucky to be one of the people that G. Michael's transforms & pampers into totally fabulous!! This is going to sound silly, but we are the "beautiful people"!!
