  The owner of New World Builders is a very nice guy. He has a good heart. This company does not pay attention to details. They are definitely on “Island Time.” I gave them a list of things that needed correcting. The never finished the list. If they would have done it right the first time (paying attention to detail) I would be writing a different review. I gave them 2 stars because he tried and he is a nice guy.

  My railing on my deck needed replacing in Galveston. This was a big job because all the pickets needed replacing as well.Frank answered my call immediately and was able to schedule me within a few weeks. He took care to salvage what he could which brought my costs down. The deck railing looks great. I would give an A+ for accountability,: Frank always responded to my calls. He suggested turning some of the older boards my deck to provide longevity.
  I had a slight issue with a gate and he came without question to fix it. He guarantees his work. I paid him for the full job before it was done because I trusted him. He is someone who will listen, does quality work and is accountable. What more could you ask for ?

  I recently reached out to New World Builders about staining and sealing an existing deck I have at my beach house in Galveston. I had called several other companies as well and received no response back. Frank called me back right away and set up a time to come out and estimate the project. I met Frank at my house and he provided a quick, easy estimate. He was very knowledgeable about the project and a lot of the nuances that come with having a home in Galveston. Frank provided me a written quote that night via email. Once I reviewed and signed the quote, his team started work shortly after that. Frank worked with me on the stain color and kept me informed about any issues or delays with the project. We had a lot of rain during the project but Frank and his team were able to complete the work with minimal delay. The final product came out looking great and should last for years to come. I would highly recommend using Frank and New World Builders for any of your future home improvement needs.

  Don’t let Frank suck you in! Horrible experience. The other three post a few hours ago (that are all 5 stars & all three at the exact same time😂) are from the three “employees” I asked to leave my house earlier today. Con-artistno doubt. They were really quick to give me an overestimate on work/quote that needed to be done. When husband got home and questioned their unnecessary work, they changed their tone. Especially don’t use them if you are a woman! Over two days, they did about an hour of collecting money/so called supplies and 30 minutes of work. The only guy working cut through the wood that was holding up the sheet rock and bent/pulled the towel rack off the wall. Frank seems like he has good intentions, probably should do it himself. Yeahjust sharing my experience. Best of luck on Home repairs y’all!

  **Caution** If you value your money you will not hire this company. I contacted Frank about rebuilding a deck on the back of my house. He and Josh came to review the work and I had a quote a few days later. I gave Josh the first check for demolition, drawings, and permits. When they were about 75% done with demo Josh asked for another check for materials to rebuild to deck. I gave him the check and have not seen them since. The demo has not been completed and no work has been done since the second check was received. I tried to work with Josh for four months but all I ever got was a run-a-round. The drawing I received from New World Builders included the deck but didn’t include a roof or stairs. I also verified with the city of Galveston that no permits were ever applied for, even though Josh had told me he had the permits. Worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. My money is gone. If you noticed, the only 5-star review for this company at the time of this review is from Frank himself.
