Awesome atmosphere and a very fun place to gather for get togethers. The bar is huge and many tables that seem so inviting for dates or meetings with friends or family. The decor is outstanding and branding everywhere. The beer and food is top notch for a small lake town place and it is recommended as a great stop for a unique experience. The beer is by far the star of the show with many of their locally made brews on tap either year round or seasonal. The poet, Full Circle, and Dragons Milk are my favorite are just some to recommend. If you want a a great place to hang and experience Downtown Holland, this is a must stop.
First off, New Holland is a beautiful little town with a charming business district full of shops, bars and eateries. The New Holland Brewery is in a historic building but has been remodelled to contemporary standards. It has a strong pub menu and their beers are top notch. My personal favourites are the Dragons Milk and the S'mores Dragons Milk. They will have something to suit your palette.
I had a good experience here. The food was good and beer was as well. If you're a light beer drinker however like my wife you won't have that much of a selection. But they have a lot of good dark beers
One of my favorite breweries in Michigan. Styled for lunch and some Dragon s milk. They had a lunch special on pinwheels Excellent. Great service, lots of options for food and beverages. Love the heated side walks
Make it a point to stop by every time we are in Michigan. Great food and staff is super friendly. Of course the beer is awesome, very cute brunch place Sundays for DIY bloody Mary’s.
Nice atmosphere and good beer. We really enjoyed the extra time, incorrigible, and lost dune. We ate the BBQ chicken pizza minus jalapeños and it was excellent! Very nice experience. They also sell a decent array of their brews on site.
First time at this very cool place. Had a flight of 4 delicious beers and some big-ass awesome chicken wings. Nice, clean and good service. We will be back.
My family and I headed to New Holland Brewing while visiting family in Holland. A local recommended the restaurant to us with the knowledge that we have big city tastes (visiting from NYC and LA). I have to say, I was very pleased by the food and atmosphere. The selection was very interesting and accommodating to everyone's specific dietary preferences. They have great salads burgers and other excellent dishes. Overall definitely check this place out. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the food took a pretty long time to come out. About 30-45 minutes from sitting down to eating. Overall a great restaurant/brewery.
I'll admit I was a little skeptical when my family picked this spot. Breweries are a dime a dozen and they always seem to have the same formula of a decent selection of beers and the standard burger/whatever passes for German sausages/friend whatevers. I was pleasantly surprised to find more variety here and everything seemed very well prepared. I got the beet salad, glazed carrots, sweet potatoes with goat cheese, and half chicken. All great.
Awesome service, good drinks and food!!! Wait was not too long but worth the trip. Out of all the brewery's we went to this weekend this one was my favorite
Good food and beer is always good. But why won't they allow the servers to turn on the outdoor heaters or offer blankets when people are loving to sit outside and the sun goes down. Hello!!!!! Would be great service
Wow! I've been coming here and the new Knickerbocker location in Grand Rapids, for several years now. GREAT food, and service is always top notch. Try their liquor drink creations. 5 stars from me! Thanks New Holland!
I was at New Holland recently and had a fantastic time. i bought some bombers of their 20th anniversary special release "Blue Sunday" and luckily they made it back to Florida in our luggage. I'm so glad they did because that is one on the BEST sour beers I have ever had and I love sours. Totally worth the $. Try it if you've never had sour beer. Trust me.
Congratulations to New Holland, Owners, Staff and Crew on their 20th Anniversary! can't wait for25,30,35,40,45,50and beyond!
Good beer selection. A lot of what they have on tap isn't distributed, so it's worth a trip to try some new beer. Standard industrial brewpub decor. Above average food. The sandwiches are a good value. The main dishes are sold separately from the sides (called farmers baskets), so order one of each if you want a full meal, or order a few to share. Overall a good experience.
