Karen has won national awards for excellence for her riding school at New Era Farm. It is conveniently located close to Huntingtown and Prince Frederick in Maryland and just an hour south of Washington, DC. It is so peaceful and park-like you would think it was in the middle of nowhere instead of just six minutes from the county seat. She has lots of students who love taking riding lessons all year 'round. The covered arena means that lessons can go on no matter what the weather. They take field trips to other horse riding venues nearby and to go riding on the beach! It is a fun place to learn to ride.
