Found a part I needed. I don't think they wanted to sell it to me but they did anyway. But instead of telling me know the guy was a complete mean person. After I left felt so bad I wanted to return the part and say sorry. But besides that they had a great inventory of cars.

When my eldest son was a Little Tykes grease monkey the inventory system at New Carlisle Auto Parts was held in Sonny's head. But it was accurate. He could point me in the right direction and my little junk yard monkey and I would take off into "the yard" with a wrench and a screw driver to get a door handle or glove box door.
I'm a little older now. It no longer seems fun to slog through a dirty junk yard with a two year old who thinks he's Mama's car fixer. Besides, the kid is 34 years old with his own car troubles. Lol. At my age I appreciate all the work Mary put into inventory and that, for the most part, all the hardware, parts, short blocks, manifolds, carburetors, whatever have been removed from the cars and you buy them just like you would from a parts storebut a whole lot less expensive.
