Absolutely wonderful service! Mathew was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He has a great eye and was able to find me the most perfect dress. I am grateful. Highly recommend!!

We rented our tuxedos for the wedding through Needlemans. The tux's only came in on Wednesday the wedding was Saturday. They gave everyone who rented a tux 1 day to come in and try it on for any necessary changes. Most of our groomsmen work out of town all week and only returned on Friday, they were unable to try on their tuxes until that time and had some fit issues. We were under the impression our tuxes would be in a week prior to the wedding give the groomsmen the opportunity to come in the weekend prior.

I called Needleman's in Newport, VT to inquire about getting my measurements done for a custom wedding dress I'm ordering. I anticipating they'd offer this service at a fee, as most places do. The lady on the phone was very rude and said "We don't offer this to women who don't buy their dress here!" I found this very unprofessional. The next place I called was happy to help (even though I wasn't purchasing my wedding gown through them). This was a very poor experience and I'll never consider going here in the future.

Do not come here for a dress. I live in Orlando and decided to come home for dress shopping for my gown and bridesmaid dresses. I called ahead of time and gave my style numbers and was told they had the full Alfred Angelo collection I flew home and got to the store and surprise surprise they had no new aa gowns just a ton of discontinued by as us gowns. I ended up with a vera wang gown for a boutique back in fl. I went up twice with bridesmaids to try on dresses and both times got NO help from the girls working there. Found a bridesmaid dress in aug we all loved and was told it would take three months to get here THEN was told it was to soon to order it for my April 2012 wedding even though it would arrive in November. Not happy they wouldnt order the dresses. So i called the alfred angelo signature store in florida and talked to their sales consultant and found out the dress was $35 cheaper through Alfred angelo. I have seven
bridesmaids and needlemans was going to charge $200 a dress so they lost almost $1500 in sales. As a last ditch effort we went in one last time bc I have a beach and church wedding and wanted another dress. I tried on 15 dresses (with no help from the girls in store) it was a 1/2 hour from closing and i had settled on one for the church ceremony and was getting changed and one of the girls came and banged on the door and yelled to me they were closing in 30 minutes and I needed to hurry. ONCE AGAIN they lost that sale. Girls don't go here your bridal gown experience should be memorable in a good way!report this review -

I bought my dress from Needleman's in December. I am a plus size bride and was hesitent about dress shopping after stories from my plus size friends in their home cities. Needleman's of Newport had a huge selection of dresses (all sizes and styles) and even went to far as to special order a dress just so that I could try it on. The staff were patient and helpful and really helped to make it a very positive experience for all involved. I ordered the first dress I tried on and am beyond thrilled with it. I live just outside of Boston and am very happy I chose to return to my home town to find a wedding dress.
