Sam's is the best choice for any outdoor-related apparel or supplies. The store is massive with an endless amount of choices and prices and their customer service is always spectacular.

Jam packed with all the outdoor clothing you could possibly need for a Vermont winter and beyond. Every year when in Vermont for the holidays I shop here. Top buys for me are socks, boots, and jackets. Check the sale section on the balcony for clearance deals.

Not enough men's pants size 28/32 & 29/32, even the young salesman said they sell out quickly when they get stock in. Hum, maybe the manager could order more and therefore sell more and everyone would be happier. The prices are a bit high on some of the wool socks, long Jon's and sweaters. Driving around the country side appears to support a high number of sheep, maybe Sam's could buy local products, inturn, could bring the price down and support the local economy, some of poorest in New England. Just a thought. Thank yoy for being a long standing company and listening to our needs.

High quality brands for outdoors. We’ve found what we’ve needed every time we’ve gone to Sam’s. Items are on sale often so you might even find a bargain. We found boots my son needed that we couldn’t find anywhere else: fall, winter, spring boots for muddy conditions in a brand that was rated highly online.

We go up to this store a few times a year. I like to try to go during the sales times. They have great deals. Parking can be a bit trying.

Quintessential small town camping and outfitter. Except it's quite large, exceptionally stocked and employs excellent staff.
