Melissa Needle is the best! Attorney Needle and her staff were dedicated to helping me navigate a confusing and emotional time in my life. Melissa kept me grounded; she helped me see the path forward when I could not and she always provided solutions while helping me understand the legal ramifications of those choices. She was always prepared, I was her sole focus during our meetings. I’m grateful that I had the fortitude to terminate other representation whom were not representing me to my satisfaction. Melissa is a level headed person focused on facts and solutions. I was grateful to have a strong coach and ally during a tumultuous time.

I have known Melissa Needle for over 15 years. I have had nothing but positive interactions with her. I find her to be very reasonable, intelligent and articulate for her clients. She has a complete understanding of the more complex issues in family law. In fact, I refer cases to her. She has the unique ability to manage her client’s expectations which results in the greater likelihood of a case being resolved short of trial. I have been practicing family law exclusively for well over 35 years, and I would count Melissa Needle among the top ten ethical lawyers that I deal with.

I spent 11 long years in the system. I would not have been trapped there for so long if I had Attorney Melissa Needle as my counsel from the beginning. She was a ray of sunshine in the very dark world of divorce and in my never ending storm. Melissa gave me back my freedom and not only brought justice to the ones who were trying to defy the system, but she defended me from many unjust accusations. I have spoken to countless lawyers during this process. Attorney Needle is the only lawyer who was not in it for the money or the big win--she's about justice and she fought for what was best for my kids and me. She has a level of empathy that can sometimes be hard to find in a lawyer. She cares. She is honest--a word hardly ever used in the process. She is a wife and a mother, which is so important in the world of divorce, so you can truly understand the dynamics of a family/marriage in all its facets. Melissa was the first attorney to be fair, and to truly care about my children and me. And her integrity spans all aspects of her business--she never over billed me or over charged me. I highly recommend Attorney Needle and am eternally grateful to her for all she did for me.

I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need an attorney you can trust. I had my $7500 retainer blown through without anything of substance to use, and waited almost 7 weeks for an agreement (no conversations in between) that was time sensitive, only to receive a template after I asked for a status. Had I not asked for a status, I think they would have forgotten about me. Additionally, there was a balance due back to me after I terminated my relationship with the firm, and I have tried multiple times to resolve it without success. Attorney Needle even responded and told me she would get back to me, after I emailed a second time asking for a status, and she has since ignored the issue. They were quick to take my retainer, send me invoices to deduct from the retainer balance, but now that they owe me money, nothing. My opinion is I have a case for legal malpractice here as well.

There aren't enough glowing things to say Melissa Needle and her entire team. Melissa took me through a difficult and challenging cross state relocation case and helped me achieve what I thought was impossible. With intention and smart strategic moves all the way through, Melissa helped me navigate the process with patience, incredible attention to detail, foresight, and incomparable smarts. She is seasoned, empathic, but knows when to make hard calls and tough decisions. And they always seemed to lead to the desired outcomes. I trusted her with the biggest decision of my life, and she secured the outcome we desperately wanted. She and her entire team are accessible, responsive, supportive, caring, and they don't leave one stone unturned. I can't recommend her highly enough and with Melissa, you are in THE BEST hands.
