  Native van lines did a great job with my long haul move! Not even a wine glass was broken in the process. They arrived promptly within the 3 day window and were very respectful throughout the whole process. I would say that their communication could be improved, but generally I had a great experience and would highly recommend native van lines.

  I do not know if I can confidently recommend Native Van Lines to a prospective customer. Their sales team is fantastic, one of the only positive things about my experience. Rachel was kind, responsive and very communicative with us the entire move. However, things for us went south when the representative handling the inventory called edited the date of availability from what was set-up, delaying the shipment of my stuff until after that date. Not once was the effect of the change explained until a week and a half after the shipment was picked up. Furthermore, Andrew in Customer Support was nothing but uncommunicative, rude and unhelpful when trying to ascertain why my furniture was still in storage. They did a great job contracting out the job, and I had a great experience with them, however the post-pickup experience with Native was abysmal.

  These criminals set me up with another band of criminals called Reliable Moving Services LLC. I hired them to move my belongings from my apartment in Brooklyn, NY to Reston, VA on July 1. On July 13, they delivered my items to my apartment in Reston. When we were finished unpacking our belongings, we realized that we were missing a safe. My wife had packed a safe with several items, including her passport, birth certificate, and jewelry, and had placed the safe in one of our suitcases. The movers had opened our suitcase and had stolen the safe. We tried contacting them and the most they would offer was a check for $121. When I refused and requested higher compensation, they stopped answering my calls.
  I'm rating these brokers poorly because only thieves would help other thieves to help steal from innocent people like myself and my wife. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES.
  ADDENDUM: the thieves decided to respond to my review. They conveniently failed to mention that in order for me to receive the compensation that was offered, I would've had to sign a waiver stating that I would not post bad reviews about Reliable Moving Services LLC or Native Van Lines. It is worth more to me that these thieves be called out for who they are than I receive a measly $121.

  DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! I would give zero stars if I could. This has been the worst moving experience of my life. The quote they gave me over the phone was no where close to what I was expected to pay when the movers showed up. The price nearly doubled. I also live in a studio apartment; I do not have a lot of stuff. The movers arrived a full day late after a 3 day pick up window. I felt trapped into accepting the new terms because all the details of my move had been organized and I was starting work in 5 days in another state. I reviewed my inventory list after the movers were there and they marked everything was damaged before it went on the truck. (not true) I was never given a eta when my delivery would arrive. I have called, texted, and emailed multiple times a week and they have failed to give me an actual eta. It has been a month and there is no end in sight when I will actually get my stuff. I don't have a bed, anything to sit on, my pots and pans, etc. I could've driven back and forth and made multiple trips, saved more money and got the job done in less time than this. I can assure you the 5 star reviews of this company are fake. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!

  They quoted me 2k, then loaded the truck and raised it to 4k. Then everything arrived damaged. Marble coffee table, shattered. Expensive white sofa, had stains all over it. Dinner table, ruined. TV, which they charged me $150 to pack, had a step ladder put in the box against its screen!
  
  They're super responsive until they've picked up your things (have all the cards). From then on, the people who work with you are nasty and offer no help with anything/just contract the work out to others.
