  BetterLife is a company that truly cares for its members. The protection and free member benefits offered are unparalleled. They’re also very active in the community through volunteering and fundraisers. An added bonus is the money you pay in premiums goes into causes that you and other members are passionate about.

  I was a policy holder with Western Fraternal and they became BetterLife. Well, I have never had a worse experience with an insurance company. Since the change, I have not been able to access any of my information. I had issues with the portal and reached out to a contact for assistance. We had communicated throughout the day. She had sent me various instructions that she said were given to her by the IT department. Her last message read, "I am sure this is very frustrating. IT is informing me that you will need to click on Advance here and in the next screen continue. Once there, you should get to a screen to log in." After her instructions, I was still unable to log in and sent her. I tried to follow up with her that day, and the next, and have heard nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Their products may be fantastic, but if you are not able to access your information, it does not matter.

  Spoke to David Horstmann at the Madison WI office concerning insurance for my wife. David is the Manager at this location, and he is extremely patient, very professional, down to earth, sincere, and it was a pleasure doing business with David and this Company. He was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. I would highly recommend his services.

  Professional behavior is not a priority with this company. I spoke to one incredibly rude agent. I made a complaint but have yet to hear back. That was enough for me - if they can’t be professional in a minor situation, they can’t be trusted in a major one.

  I had an amazing experience with National Mutual Benefit. They are a close-knit organization with a member centric approach and an eye on the future.
