The ship yard 5 stars work environment great, gold hat employees of nassco, they need to be more professional on what they do, and be respectful and decipline tours the outside contractor's remember you are representing your company that is !NASSCO!

The Worst job I ever had sence the momment you start working they (leaders) are always remind of how quick you can be fire and nothing would change is like being in prison. Theres no leader ship, if you want to move up you have to be kiss ass to the leaders and buy them food and sodas com'on thats your leaders and you try to put your oppionion on something and they will laugh at you is no joke the way your treated thats why I quit and around 50% of new employees quit as well they promise you a job that can last 7 years ! that was last year and this year they have laid off so many people and make there employee takes vacations no pay either. I know I'm not a college graduate and I wasent looking for a desk job but I sure can find a job any job better then nassco. Dont even bother talking to HR (human resources) they take a long time to get back to you and when you ask to be change of location they cant help you I worked in sock 3 the 2nd shift. Dont be fooled by nassco

GD leads all westcoast for commercial and military ship manufacturing and repair. Look for greater things coming in near future to benifit the economy and kick start new jobs and schooling for evry type of individual.
