  My husband recently amputated a fair slice of flesh on his left ring finger. We were finally seen after a couple of hours wait and that is to be expected, however, I was not expecting for to be the doctors assistant, nor were any of the procedures well explained. Questions were answered curtly with no empathy whatsoever. In addition, my husband was not given a prescription for any pain and we had to rely on some older pain medication from another procedure that we happened to have in our cupboard. The physician handed us the post procedure instructions, and then dashed out the door with no time to ask any questions. Good thing I can figure out stuff from former experiences!!

  I am in the pharmacy probably more than most people. I had one issue with one employeexception once, but other than that one time I have been treated very well by the pharmacy staff. They have even gotten me discount cards for certain drugs without my even asking. Usually done in about 15 to 20 minutes.

  My boyfriend took his daughter in for a ear infection. He was treated terrible by the staff. Telling him that him as a parent is responsible for the cost. Well yea we know that. We had or credit card knowing we as parent's are responsible to pay for medical cost. I want to know why in the world they would just assume he wasn't gonna pay for it. The lady acting that way will be turned into humane resources. I gave him my card to use and she yelled at him about that too. Why is it her business who is paying as long as it is paid. She rolled her eyes at him when he told her it was my card. Completely ridiculous

  If you believe that the wait time will be shorter then an emergency room visit, you are mistaken. They are a step down from an emergency room visit and you may be sent to Munson Emergency department as they do not handle Trauma or health care in need of procedures like heart Cath lab.
  You are treated with care and I highly recommend Munson Community Health Center for acute coughs, sore throat, and non emergent symptoms and it is outside the normal business hours of your primary physician.

  I'm now sitting in there emergency care with a daughter in alot of pain with a broken foot. We have been sitting here for over an hour without any help or service. The service is terrible and where they get urgent care from I do not know because it is clearly they do not know the definition of urgent. It is a holiday weekend, you'd think they'd power for the needs of there tourists. If I could go somewhere else I would, Munson Community Health Center is clearly not about the care of their patients or the community. Traverse City you should be ashamed to have Munson as your emergency care facility. They do not deserve one star let alone multiples.

  It is a very slow process being seen at the urgent care. There were 2 people ahead of us. Approx 4 hours latter we are still here for a chronic cough. There seams to be no urgency. With the cost of health care you would expect a little better service.
