The chicken philly here is amazing, but it’s pretty apparent the service isn’t great. My boyfriend and I know it’s going to be a long dinner when we decide to eat here, it seems as if the servers are barely around

The reviewer who called this a "Biker Bar" is pretty out of touch. I was denied entry because of my riding vest. "No Club Colors" I was told. My club has donated over $3M to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital - not exactly criminal. However, I understand that some places have this as a blanket rule. The bouncer was very courteous about it. I'll come back some time without my "colors".

I like MCT. It's a dive bar, but it's Gainesville's dive bar. I've had a lot of good memories in that place, and I'm happy to see what the owner turned it into. They have live music usually during the weekend, and it's mostly the best tribute bands around the area. Some local music, which can be cool. Drinks are good, as is the food. Only complaint is the bathrooms are too small, and can be smelly at times.

I love this place. It's been there a long time so the floor plan is unique, but that is part of its charm. Three pool tables (with new felt and bumpers), happy hour drinks try the pink drink if you like sweet and fruity. Outside area for nice weather. Live music, largely cover bands, but they've got skills. Good food. Try the pork sliders. Great staff.

Great food, great bar. They have lots of drink specials, frequently have good bands, movie nights the new owners wanted to get rid of dive-bar reputation it had, they've done a great job of it.

Bartender doesn't have a damn clue. Only qualifications she has is seeing and breathing. Here's a little tip to the owner from a long time EXECUTIVE in the business: EDUCATE YOU'RE PEOPLE BEFORE YOU PUT THEM AS THE FACE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

Great dive bar, smell is a bit off putting at first but goes away. Food was excellent!! Nice drink specials. Very live with locals. Seems like there is a bit to keep you occupied inside, pool, jukebox, live music. I would definitely return for the food and drinks.
