Stayed here for my first time being in Wisconsin Dell's. While the resort is nice, the staff isn't. On two separate occasions I tried to play pool in the lobby. The first time the cue ball got stuck in the table. I was given another ball to use until the cue ball came unstuck, which it did. The second time there was no 3 or cue ball. I went and told a staff member and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. Also, probably at some point in the water pack I cracked one of my nails. I asked the front desk if they had a nail clipper and I got smirked at and asked "do you really need one?" While the front desk was rude, the people in the water park were very friendly. But seeing how they treat their guests when there are 50 people staying there, I would hate to experience the staff when there are 2000+ people staying there. When we left they were trying to get us to sign up for a return stay. We told them no.
I was staying here for my birthday. The room was fairly inexpensive, but when we arrived we saw there was barely anything to do. The indoor theme park had nothing teenage friendly, water park was the same. When they had told us the outdoor theme park was open only 1 ride was available. The staff looked very displeased and angry to be there. We are capable of cleaning up after ourselves. But the 3 nights we spent, our room was cleaned once only. At 10 pm at night there was loud crashing, banging, and yelling coming from cleaning crew working on a room near by. We Will never be coming back here again.
Save your money and don't come to this place. The discount might seem tempting but still not worth it. Check in to a hotel with a water park near your home. The hotel does not have breakfast or room service, just drinks you can buy at their cafe or bar. The room is so thin you hear all the neighbors like in the joint rooms, upstairs, in the hallway and in the parking lot which is your view when you stay. The mattresses are uncomfortable springs with just enough padding to not get stabbed. When you check in your room is an ice box that they have kept at 60 degrees. Everything is over priced and not because of quality, just because of tourism. Don't go.
Hotel check in I had to wait an hour in line. Hotel was dirty, floors were gross and there was pink hair in the bath tub. Non of us had Pink hair! At 11 at night when we were already in bed hotel security came banging at our door telling us that we needed to be quiet and we were going to get kicked out if we did not be quiet. WE WERE IN BED!!! On top of that the 2 nights that we were there there was a family that seemed to have more then one room running around screaming and being obnoxious. When we told security that we were not part of that group he did not listen to us and continued to say that he was going to kick us out if we don't listen to him. Ridiculous. I will never stay at this hotel again. The only plus side to staying at this hotel is that you have free admission to the water and theme park. Even then it usually only cost like $5 to get into the theme park anyway. Next time I go ill do more research and spend the money for a good hotel.
The overall campground is nice, however, the cabins are Extremely close together. If you walk 5 feet in any directions it seems like you're at the next cabin. The inside of the cabins is very nice, bunk bed, and queen bed, with extra blankets and sheets, also includes towels and soap, as well as fridge, and microwave.
There was only one power outlet that I found in the cabin. The shower house seemed extremely outdated, half of the shower curtains seemed broke, and the actual showers were push button, no temperature control, and no curtain to separate shower from area to get dressed. If they improved the bath house I would definitely increase my rating. The overall price for what you get Mt Olympus is very good in my opinion.
Wonderful place to visit. I like the roller coaster and it is toddler friendly park. My kid enjoyed it a lot. I got ticket in offer price for $3 so much worth the money. Food inside is but costly and parking too $25 (that is where they earn). We enjoyed the trip here
Fast and friendly service. Check in was faster than expected. Love that the park, parking, and free food was included with the resorts. The only issue I had was the room. Air conditioner was old and took awhile to work. Also the ice machine was in a different building so had to take a walk to get ice.
It's a pretty good water park, my kid had a lot of fun even though he was under sized for almost all of the rides. I had only seen the go carts from the road, so I was surprised to find a huge water park back there too. I'd go back to the park for sure.
Now the bad part. The villas they own are at best a 1-2 star hotel. It felt really gross staying there. I was really happy we only had booked one night there. I think they do have nicer places right by the park that are nicer, but watch out for the villas. You also can't walk from most of the accommodations, you have to drive in each day.
Nice. A bit far from the water park but ok. It was a nice winter getaway.
It was fun and clean and up to date! Not the Ritz Carlton but wonderful for a family vacation
Learn English no one has clue what's going on. AAA never heard of it.usa
Great place but so packed you cant go on rides. Waiting in line for 2 hours. If you like wave pools its a great place.
This place is now called Mt. Olympus Camp Resort. After much consideration, I decided to make reservations here for 3 nights, on a gravel RV/Camper spot. We arrived on Friday around 1pm. Check in was swift, at the hotel that sits right in front of the campground. The price wasn't terrible for full hook ups. It was, however, very cramped, and very busy. The campsites were very close together, and did not have angled backing in. So you better be good at backing in at close to a 90 degree angle and into a very tight parking spot. Not a lot of room to park your vehicle if you have a bigger camper. I have a 26' 5th wheel and full size pickup, and was close to hanging into the road. Power and water were easily accessible, sewer lines were a bit oddly located but within reach. In the three nights we were there, we had 3 different neighbors on one side and two on the other. I made the reservations under the assumption that we wouldn't be spending much time there, so it did work out quite well. A place to park our camper and sleep in it. We did get a fire ring and picnic table, but didn't use them as we weren't there much and with how busy it was as we were located close to the bathroom building and we had lots of people cutting through our campsite. Even in the middle of the night it was busy and noisy. The bathrooms were located well, and very clean for as busy as it was there. There was an ice machine located at the restroom building as well. It was within walking distance to the park as well, just across a very busy street. If you spend most of the time in the waterpark it makes for a very long and uphill walk at the end of the day though. I'd stay here again if my plans were the same: to just sleep in the camper and spend pretty much all my time elsewhere. If I wanted to enjoy a more "campground" feel, I would definitely look elsewhere.
