Amazing place. Great selection of books and movies, plus a good used book store.
This branch in particular has A LOT of Great Courses DVD's from many different subjects, some of which come with a guidebook attached.response / report this review -

The library staff are friendly and helpful. There are various story times for kids throughout the week. The children’s section is huge and has a great selection of books. My kids love playing here!

This is one of (if not THE) best libraries in the South Hills. It’s clear Mt. Lebanon’s budget makes for better staff. They are professional, learned and bookish, and I’ve had many pleasant exchanges here. There is one person in particular with a delightful and infectious laugh. Smiling can’t be helped.
This library is alive and bustling. There are frequently programs and activities for all ages, from your wee little ones to merely the young at heart. It’s truly a wonderful community to be a part of.
My only complaint is not one which can be helped. While this library is beautiful and outfitted with outstanding resources, it’s a public space. There are a number of unsavory and unbelievably malodorous people patronizing this place. Stay upwind.response / report this review -

I.love the librarian the are clever help get books that was great for passion for my schooling gave that library the brains of the world gave me more brains than a school I home school my sin from a library google have nothing on a library those books better than any t.v set and watch movies there peaceful place to go and get out of the house love that places give it forever stars the kids need to read more I was in spell b good with words every since I was a kid love spelling photo memory reading good for the soul and mind thy that cure for the brain go read about any places in the world what you like the library have it and tell what need to know and the have a tea party Japanese style that places great young old anybody live you Mt.lebano great be home thanks goe bless the library. This is one of the worst libraries I have experienced in this country. Despite a budget to envy, ANY popular book comes in one copy so the waiting list can easily be 6 months long. Staff is rude; not just infriendly but plain irritated w/ patrons' presence. Databases are so 20th century that finding anything is near impossible. Simply put - a bad library.
