One of the best places to socialize with a group. Borrow a board game, eat some amazing food*, stay for as long as you want. The party rooms have amazingly fun themes and the service is always fantastic.

*I highly recommend the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Homemade bread, homemade peanut butter, homemade jelly. You won't believe how tasty it is.

This is my favorite board game store, I wish I had one in Ohio! The layout of the store is perfect because the play areas don't interfere with shopping. They have an excellent selection, great prices and an incredible staff! The employees were very passionate and knowledgeable about games and based on our interests recommended a few other games for us to buy.

So much fun. We sat and played a great game. Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Wide selection of games to try. Only complaint is the cafe food. Wish it were yummier.

Being an avid board games lover, this could be the best place I find to indulge in it ! Plenty of games,merchandise and place to sit and have a nice time with your friends. It also has tournament rooms and family games room to play with your children. Stays open till 12AM and offers a good range of appetizers ,entrees and desserts too !

Great game selection, and the shop was clean and friendly. The shop had a great variety of games, including many just-released titles, and there were both clearance and used titles available. New games retailed at their MSRP, which doesn't bother me at all, but I know that's a sticking point for some. The organization of games was by theme or mechanic, which was an interesting take on things. I think I liked that.

Recently popped in to look for a card game I'd heard about, Anomia. I had difficulty finding it on the floor, but the two employees working the busy front desk were very friendly, eager, and quick to assist me. They were not able to locate the game on the floor either, but went the extra mile and hunted through the store's back room to find the last one in stock. It was evident that both employees really enjoy what they do and the company they work for, and I love supporting businesses who treat their employees well. It really shows in their excellent customer service.
Additionally, I am always astounded by the wide range of games Mox carries, and I can't wait to go back and try my hand at something new.

This was my first experience visiting a gaming cafe, and I loved it! The server was super friendly, and I felt like he came to our table the perfect number of times. While the atmosphere can be a little loud, everybody is enjoying a game, which adds to the already positive ambiance.

My favorite place in Seattle to shop for MTG cards. It's a great spot to chill with friends and play, too. I really like the computer system they have in place to order individual cards. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, too! The cafe side is convenient for those long games, but a little pricey (it's in Ballard so it's not too surprising).

This is a great place to get a new and unique board game. And even better, if you are not sure you would like a paticular game, they more than likely have it to borrow. There is even an attached bar and restaurant that you can have some drinks with friends and grab a plate of nachos to share while you try out a fun and enjoyable hobby! They also host events and have regular game nights for whatever tabletop game genre you love.

I loved this place when I first moved here. It's like a nerd safe haven. The recent re-branding and menu changes over the past months are the only nit picking I'll do. Quality rotating beer list, the food is done well. This place can get crowded quickly and because it is catering towards gamers, the wait to be seated can be long. If you know you want to go, reserve a table.

A bar/cafe attached to a game/card shop. A match made in heaven and Mox capitalizes well with a massive selection of games(new and old) to borrow(for free) while you drink or snack in the cafe.
The food is pricey for what you get, but it's all good. Paying a bit extra for the setting is fair. The staff are all great and personable. It's a great place if you like drinking with friends and playing games!

Probably one of the best, if not the best place to pick up MTG singles online! Live in Canada and still choose these guys, over anyone else!

Awesome selection, though a little pricey. Lots of games I wanted to buy, but I wasn't prepared for the sticker prices on some of them. Huge store and helpful staff, too. Love the wall of games you can "test drive" before purchase, and the connected cafe!

The selection here is kind of insane. The store covers every flavor of board game, RPGs, and a lot of other things you can think of. The staff is knowledgeable about which games will meet any particular interest.

There is also a constant updating of store displays, creating new collections that allow you to jump to new games knowing that you already like a related game. Entering the store even weekly is a varying experience.

In addition, being able to borrow a large selection of games to play in the adjoining cafe/bar is a great way to test things you might want to purchase.
