My family recently stayed at the Mountainside Inn which is not to be confused with the "MOUNTAINSIDE GRILL" which someone on here did. The Mountainside Inn is not a restaurant, but a beautiful Inn built in 1879. We had a nice comfy stay with all the amenities of home. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

I highly recommend giving it a try for a stay that you will enjoy!

I stopped here with some friends when skiing up at Boyne Mountain and was extremely disappointed. 2 pancakes, a meager helping of hash browns, and some "orange juice" (which tasted like watered down tang) came to $9.25. The waitress was highly unprofessional; a normal conversation about where we were from quickly turned sour when she asked if we could take her son back to Grand Rapids to see his dad. While this may appear to be a cozy little joint from the outside, it is without a doubt one of the worst restaurants I've been to.
