Ok. Let me start off by saying the staff was amazing. Everyone was perfectly nice, but the amount of time we waited was epic failure. We got here at 11and it's currently 7 and we still aren't out of here. Tests that should have taken a few minutes took HOURS! Do not come here if you are in a hurry.

I was really hesitant at first going to this hospital for a major surgery that I had to have, because of all of the negative comments that were made. I was so glad I chose to go here. I had the most WONDERFUL nurses I have ever had. I was in the ICU and med-surg. I was really really sick. I had bodily fluids coming out both ends and these nurses were not only there to help clean me up, but they were very informative, committed, kind, warm, caring, and comforting. Most of all they were compassionate, while holding my hand, they let me know that everything was going to be ok. Calming my fears, after a surgery I didn't think was going well. Normally I recover and bounce back quickly, but my body was refusing any food, and these wonderful nurses took great care of me. I want to give some of the names so they might get some extra credit where credit is due. There were two Cassie's, Jennifer, Shannon, and Jessie. Not only did I feel safe being there, but my parents also felt good leaving me there overnight by myself with these wonderful nurses. Thanks for your hard word and diligence.

    I HOPE EVERYONE READS THIS:
If you are looking for a hospital that is guaranteed to kill someone for you so you can have their inheritance this is the place! They are extremely rude, and do not care for their patients properly. No one in this hospital wants to help anyone live. They want to prescribe you pills and shove you out the door as fast as they can. They are legal murderers. Especially Dr. Bair. He will come in the room and call women “sweetheart” or “honey” in the most inappropriate and creepiest way possible. You all mark my words that Dr. Bair will be on the 10 o’clock news for molestation or some sort of improper patient care. And don’t prove him wrong cause he knows everything. Anyways, I pushed the nurse help button 6-14 times waiting anywhere from 5-15 minutes for a nurse as I watched them all turn the alarm off and continue to mess around on computers. If my friends condition was time critical she would have been dead at least 9 times. This hospital needs to do their jobs and not depend on how the “vitals” look! Some of the nurses are doing great but this hospital needs a major employee overhaul. Do yourselves a favor and use a REAL hospital like American Fork or Timp. It’s worth risking your life for the drive.

Oh and p.s. you can write off the bill now because you aren’t receiving a dime from me.

Loved Dr Crouch, delivery nurses and anesthesia Doct. Nursery nurses were awesome to. Wasn't impressed with how some of the younger newer nurses treated me, they acted like my pain wasn't important and wasn't willing to call my Doct until I got upset. No hot water for showers, and graveyard nurse was slow to bring pain meds, I had to keep after some of the nurses to bring pain meds on time- really annoying when my pain kept resurfacing too soon. Medical supply door kept getting slammed shut in the middle of the night, all night long- so loud! I would have loved it if it weren't for those things.

I've been to the ER here and I've have to take both my 2 boys in, once each and i can honestly say that i have been extremely impressed. We live a couple hours away and our local hospital is a joke compared to Mountain View. The staff was amazing with my 10 year old when he sprained his wrist, they were so quick they had his x-rays done before I even had the paperwork finished. The DR and nurses were great with my 1 year old when he hurt his eye. They were very understanding and were extremely patient with him. Even giving him a little green teddy bear for being so brave. I was really impressed with how short our wait times were. I seriously think I've only spent maybe 5 minutes in the waiting area between all the times I've been there. The doctors were great, nurses and staff were very kind. When it came to billing I think this has been the most easiest hospital to deal with in that aspect. They are very understanding and the lady in billing was very helpful. I highly recommend and can honestly say even though we live so far away, if ever needed again it will be worth the drive.

I have gone to Mountain View Hospital a handful of times over the years. I have had two c-sections there and gone with family members to the ER. My first c-section there in 2012 went smoothly and I was very impressed, my second c-section in 2015 didn't go well due to the actions of a couple of nurses. I originally gave Mountain View 2 stars due to the experiences with labor & delivery during my second c-section, but I am now changing it to 4 stars because of the wonderful staff in the ER after my most recent visit. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time, answered all of my questions, and held my hand when I found out I would need surgery. From the staff at the front desk to the nurses and ER doctor, everyone was very kind and helpful. A huge thank you to all of them for helping change my opinion of Mountain View Hospital.

We have used the emergency room several times, had grandkids here, and used other services here. We have had great experiences each and every time! My father in law is in the ER & heading to the ICU right now. Not worried about the care he'll be receiving today and the near future.

When you watch your loved one hanging by a thread and you watch a team of doctors, nurses and techs jump in and save him its overwhelming! After he was stable the great care never stopped. I am so impressed with the kind people that took care of him. They were very kind to me as well. Thank you to the people in the ER, ICU and med-surg floor!

Horrible experience with the emergency room. Arrived with stomach pain while pregnant and requested they call my doctor. They refused to call my doctor and instead ordered an MRI. The MRI showed nothing was wrong so they ordered a simple non invasive test which immediately showed the problem. If they had done that test first it would have saved me thousands of dollars and avoided the risks of having an MRI while pregnant. Went to my doctor the next day and he was shocked to hear that they jumped straight to an MRI based on my symptoms. He knew what was going on without any tests. Will never go here again.

I gave birth at this hospital and it could not have been a more positive experience. The staff were so wonderful and efficient and attentive. They listened to my concerns and made sure we were happy and comfortable. The room they put us in after I had the baby had a queen size bed so my husband could stay with us the whole time and the food was good! The care we received was remarkable and I'm so happy that we went to Mountain View Hospital.

If you are having a baby I would suggest you don't choose this hospital. Especially if you have any complications. I had my baby here and most of the staff and nurses didn't know what they were doing. I felt like they put my life on the line. My family members were mistreated by a particular nurse who was a know it all. I didn't feel safe and my experience was very bad due to the bad decisions made by the personnel in charge at that time. I would hate to have anyone experience what I did. There wasn't much empathy from most of the people taking care of me. Those involved weren't very knowledgeable. Overall a very traumatic experience.
