I went in a little nervous about getting my wisdom teeth taken out, but as soon they put the breathing mask on me I’m out. Then I’m waking up in the car going home with a fat sore face. So I’d say it went pretty well.

Great customer service! The staff was so friendly and very welcoming. I was a nervous wreck and they talked me through it. The Dentist himself was very friendly and very informative of what would be going on. I would definitely go back and I encourage everyone to try them out! You won't be disappointed.

This is my second day if recovery, so far I am very pleased with my experience. I was terrified to have my teeth touched. The first and last time was when I was 17 and for the same reason I needed another. My wisdom teeth were impacted and rotting to nubs by 29 with abcesses. I was scared at just the idea, my boyfriend's support and the assurances of the staff and doctor got me through a much needed procedure. My top two wisdom teeth spots are healing very well over the areas, mind you I have an extremely low healing rate too. My experience so far is great. I'm healing well, I keep up on the medication provided and keep my mouth wash routine with the medication mouthwash. The staff were honestly great during my time there :)

I had suffer with a bad tooth ach for 2days went to my regular dentist had a filling put in next day I woke up to a swollen jaw.
Call my dentist an he rushed me in with a walk in he seen me an said swelling wasn't good an immediately got me rushed to Mouton state oral in taeys valley, when I got there I waited to be called back I felt like I was welcomed as a new patient an all the nurses were super nice an made you feel at home. I was put to sleep by Dr. Allen an he cut my bad tooth out. After surgery I was laughing an didn't know why.. yes I do I was loopy from the gas they put in my system lol.. but yes everyone was nice an I was satisfied with Dr . Allens work.
I came home with zero pain an a lot of swelling but now my Jaw is back to normal!

I wouldn't normally post a review but just can't allow anyone else to suffer like I did and still am. Due to health problems I had to have all my remaining teeth removed (16). The surgeon was rude and impatient, the nurses were so stressed they barely spoke. Was supposed to have Twilight Sleep, surgeon told nurses to "push" it but he didn't wait for it to take effect;16 teeth ripped out in 15 minutes. He put my dentures in, packed my mouth with gauze, said bite down for 45 minutes, said YOUR DAMN DENTURES DON'T FIT, and left the room. I ended up at ER, it took 2 bags of IV fluids to rehydrate me. No one from the Hurricane office has ever called to check on me. It has been 5 months since this ordeal, my gums have yet to heal completely and I still have bone slivers coming thru my gums. I think people should know what to expect before going to the Hurricane office and I plan to file a complaint with the AMA or whatever organization that controls dentists.

I completely disagree with the previous review! I felt that the entire office was more than helpful and pleasant. The doctor was great. He even made sure to show me the gloves he would be using, since I have severe latex allergies. They even called me hours after my procedure to make sure I was doing well. Today is the day after surgery and I am feeling WONDERFUL. No pain and very minimal swelling. I would refer this office to anyone. As a matter of fact, my sister-in-law is planning her appointment now!

The office at Teays Valley is not a welcoming place to go. If you want people who are friendly, take time to explain what is happening or what will happen to you, DO NOT come here. The staff are grumpy and hate their job, the doctors have no more than 2 seconds to spend with you and no-one in the building seems to realize that not everyone enjoys getting their mouth cut open and being in the dark about it. There are 1-2 nurses who pretend to care but other than that, my advice is steer clear of this place like the plague!!!!
