I took my dog here because she wouldn’t stop licking her butt. When I was there I overheard the staff talking to each other saying that something “looks full”. They did not say anything to me about it. They charged me $90 and did nothing but say “It’s probably allergies.”
They never told me that her glands were full and offered to express them. Also, they took it upon themselves to clip her nails (which weren’t that long) and then charged me $13 without even asking me or mentioning it.
Multiple things they did were very unprofessional, and I will not be going back.response / report this review -

The staff is absolutely amazing. We had an emergency and they took us in right away, kept me calm, and loved all over my baby. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

My friend had brought her dying cat there in hopes of just getting some pain meds to make her cat more comfortable before she passed. We can all imagine what a hard time that is for any pet owner. Most of us consider our pets as our children, so my friend asked multiple times if they could give her cat something to help alleviate the pain but all they kept saying was "We can't do anything to help her feel more comfortable, there is no point! You just have to put her down." It's disgusting that they would not give her any pain meds just to alleviate the pain some before she died of kidney failure. All they said they could do was put her down.

I have been using Mt Dora Veterinary Hospital for over a decade. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. They have always treated my pets like their pets. Dr. Beau is wonderful. He listens to what you have to say in regards to your pets behavior and takes that into account when diagnosing them.

The staff always great my puppy with love. It is like the show "Cheers" where everyone your name. We have received nothing but top notch pet care here for our puppy and kitties.

WE love Dr. Beau and staff. WE meaning cats and dog. I don't believe you can't get a better place to take care of your FAMILY. Tiki, our dog loves everyone and I believe they love her too. They sure do spoil her.

These people are great! They are never too busy to care for or to help you to care for you animals. You can tell the staff are really passionate about their work and their patients and they are friendly with the owners too. I will be back.

Beyond impressed with this veterinary hospital. Doctor & staff are fantastic & realistic. Saw my 150 pound bullmastiff, Porterhouse, today as an emergency visit. Right on time. Nurse came to meet us in the truck because, as it turns out, he was diagnosed with a snakebite to his paw & was having a hard time moving around. They made sure the treatment area was "ready" for him and took great care bringing him into the facility & under treatment. Even accounting for travel time, my husband was home in an hour; unheard of. So very lucky to have found this practice & highly recommend! Thank you and keep up the wonderful work!

Mount Dora vet hospital has been the go-to place for me and my doggies since 1998. I've always been very very pleased with their work their cost Consciousness and their knowledge about how to keep my pets healthy.

We have been using Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital’s services for almost 20 years through 3 generations of felines. Dr. Beau’s skills and compassion are exemplary and he is complimented by his staff that are also skilled, friendly and dedicated. We would highly recommend this service.

First time there and my 8 year old Husky's issues very kindly and quickly identified. They were professional and on time which we both appreciated. My review may go up but not until I have more visits and can see consistency.I will be going back.

Words can not express the great service, professionalism, compassion and dedication the Vet and his staff profess through their work at this place. We called for assistance and they made their best to accommodate us for an appointment the same day. The place is well located, clean and organized. The staff was very courteous and friendly. We didn't wait more than 8 minutes after we checked in and we were provided with all the documentation. I felt that their pricing for services were also very reasonable.
They received our beloved pet of 11 years for the first time, gave us professional input of his state, the options we had, and the course of action they recommended. They guided us through the process and provided us with so much compassion and level of care that I will be forever thankful for all they did for my dog. My family and I are truly grateful.
