I have enjoyed MBT for various shows but today I am waiting to watch the nutcracker and I purchased a hot chocolate for my wife and they asked if I wanted to spend an additional 3 dollars for a glass that I could take into the theater. I said sure. After spending the 5 dollars for a glass of hot chocolate they gave me a glass that was half full. I asked them to fill it up the rest of the way and they said no. In fact they said they filled it up to much to begin with. They told me that you purchase the hot chocolate by the oz and not the glass. Which I would have no issue with if that is what they advertised

The Mount Baker Theatre is a a very class act. Attention has been paid to detail,maintaining the facade of years past. The history,its past,is palatable, you can feel the excitement of past performances. The original decore has been beautifully restored and maintained. The folks that live in this area are truly blessed having this jewel close and available. I've been to music concerts and plays,I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Obviously there are better seats,but thankfully they are numerous. It's definitely a note worthy experience and should be shared by all your friends and of course family. My family and I went to the production of The Wizard of Oz. It was fantastic,being a childhood favorite for each of us, it was perfect for all of us. Dinner,the Theatre and lush,beautiful memories,what a beautiful way to celebrate the holidays. It should be duly noted,there appeared to be many more adults than kids,just sayin.

I drove here with three of my kids or a class field trip. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the atmosphere It was just a super cool place. Even with it being 3 hours away we would definitely come back

Theatre was fine, a bit chilly. Owenhouse illusionist show was strangely amateurish, even with a few nice surprises. Had I known live tigers were part of the show, I would never have bought tickets. His small video showing the tiger cubs he purchased, let loose in his house and yard, and dragged around on leashes was offensive. He spent a while trying to convince us that the tigers enjoyed their participation in his shows and justifying his "sanctuary" for the tigers he has purchased. Owenhouse seemed exhausted, or bored. Sound system and lighting was painful. Missed the mark in every way for us. I wish I would have spent the $40 tickets on groceries. Or a couple of movies.

My whole experience at the Mt Baker Theatre was a complete let down. I bought two premiere tickets at $24.50 for the Undersea Bubble Fantasia (their most expensive tickets for the said show). I thought that me and my 3 year old daughter were going to get a seat closest to the stage but instead it turned out to be a seat stationed only 7 rows away from the exit door! I ended up having to place her booster seat with her on my lap just so she could see. It was very uncomfortable especially considering I am seven month pregnant with barely enough space to fit anything in front of me. The experience felt very cheap and I completely felt ripped off for it. If you going to place someone as close as 7 rows away from the exit door then that seat should've not been selling at premiere price. This will be the last time this place gets my money.

Enjoying their "Doc-tober" series! Comfortable seats, good popcorn with various toppings bar, your choice. Intelligent, interesting programming. I like documentaries.

What a beautiful place of classic theatre couture. The woodwork is exquisite and the architecture a throwback to a time of top hats and coattails. Beautiful.

Loved the inside and performance! You cant bring in food or drinks which i understand, but the prices are crazy high. Bought 3 sodas and 3 candies for 30$. I also could not find parking for theatre, i had to park 3 blocks away.

We always enjoy programs at the Mount Baker Theatre, it is so nice to not have to drive all the way to Seattle for superior entertainment! We've seen many programs over the years and participated in the school offerings when our children were in that age group. Keep up the great work!

I have to say, since the remodel, this theatre is absolutely beautiful. I really encourage folks to visit and see a fun show there. The interior is very nice, and they have an option to take a "auditorium safe drinking cup" inside now to enjoy your favorite beverage during the show. Well done, this venue is a great addition to our community!
