A shrine is a shrine, the walk is good exercise, the water is whatever, but if your looking for a great view, a little peace and quiet and maybe a place to pray not a bad place to be. The nuns are nice as well.
Loved coming here! Saw a brochure in the hotel for this place and said I had to come here. I have never been anywhere bigger than this shrine place.
Nice place to stop on our way back to the airport. A lovely shrine with multiple devotional opportunities. Some portions are church in the round, but the older protions of the shine are splendid. The restored quarters of Mother Cabrini and the shrine chapels are definitely worth the visit.
Beautiful shrine in the mountains overlooking the whole city of Denver. Its not uncommon to see Deer grazing outside the shrine. They have a beautiful chapel where you can go for mass if you are there early in the mornings and they have a really nice gift shop.I really love the Meditation garden with the waterfall,it’s a very quiet, beautiful space. Not far away from the Meditation garden is the little museum of St.Francis Cabrini and down the hill are two different chapels and in one you can light candles and write prayer requests.Outside is the miraculous spring where you can drink the water that still flows from the spring. You can also climb the 300+ stairs to the top while praying the rosary and the stations of the cross. At the top is a very large statue of Jesus and the view is incredible! This is the perfect setting to have a silent retreat!
Mother Cabrini shrine located in Golden, Colorado is one of the most beautiful & spiritual shrines that I have ever visited. It is so peaceful & it is located up in the mountains. Their chapel is lovely & u have to climb quite a few steps to visit the actual shrine. U can also get free holy water outside the chapel, as much as u want. It's an amazing place to visit especially to go & pray there for special intentions. This is the 2nd time I've been here & I would love to go back again in the near future.
Everyone should come see this shrine to an amazing Nun who served so many
Very moving
Fantastic experience of Mother Cabrini. A Cathloic reverence in Colorado like no other. My conversion started here and it was nice to come back to remember years ago, my first time ever praying to Christ in the Cabrini chapel to show me he exists at a time when I was at my worst. He answered me in the silence of his actions and words. Because of this place I am the Cathloic I am today. For the true voice of God is in the silence.
You need to have the 10 Commandments in Spanish 80% of the visitors are Hispanic why are they not in Spanish please do something about that
Love this place, have been going since I was a kid and has gotten better and nicer, the view from the top is amazing and beautiful really really recommend that if your in Denver to check it out!
Come one come all. It is a special place. The neat thing about Cabrini is that there's a lot to see and experience both from a spiritual and historical point of view.
Nice quiet place. The view from the top of the mountains makes it worth to climb 370 odd steps.
