It's always hard to review campgrounds since people want a wide range of things, but this is a beautiful (in a natural Everglades type of way) little site. No hookups but you can fill your water and get rid of your trash (haven't checked out the dump station yet). Quiet on a little lake, lots of birds a few alligators, just a peaceful place. Very nice campground hosts who've been there for 10+ years and know the area. Wish the bathouses had showers but otherwise a great spot to chill

Beautiful campground - it feels nice and secluded despite being off a major road. The only place to buy firewood in the area is Trail Lakes campground so bring enough or suffer the mosquitoes. We stayed here before hunting season so it was super quiet. Bugs were a little out of control but nothing unusual for the everglades. Warning: fire ants become active around fire rings when its hot. Most of our site did not have fire ants but we did have to be careful.

Stayed there for a few days last year. It's basically dry camping but the views of the small lake are gorgeous. Watch your pets though - GATORS!!!

Quiet, peaceful, just a place to stay off the highway for the night, No water, no elect, no showers, pit toilets. Helpful hosts.

Nice, quiet campground. All spots have great lake views, lakefront spots are very nice. Unfortunately, not everyone respects quiet hours (many in big trailers and fifth wheels run their gen-sets all night long), but overall a good stop with a good Verizon signal (but no T-Mobile).

It is a wonderful camping place by the lake.
There is water, and electricity. So you are comfortable. Plenty of space per campsite.
What could be better: If your campsite had a private feeling to it. But here you might be afraid of being in a cozy place, because of alligators. Although they are really not dangerous to adults outside of the water.

This place is very peaceful, you can bring your RV too, but remember to make a reservation!. Nice place to do picnics.
