Great and clean place to be. Staff is friendly and hotel is very close to every tourist attractions in thw area. We'll be back for sure.
Clean and comfortable rooms and affordable prices. No frills.
No electric outlets (wall plugs) anywhere near the bed, which is so annoying!
Showers are tiny and old. No supply of shower gel (!!!) so better bring one. Pool is small and not inviting since it's located on the main entrance, alongside the main road. Towels and sheets are clean.
Charming and cozy little cottage style inn! Very clean and well maintained. A short walk to the beach and shopping. A major plus? Extremely affordable!
A very clean, well kept motel. Customer service is atrocious, however. My wife and I were checking in and because we are both under 21 they said we would need parental condition to check into the room. This was not in the terms and conditions and we had stayed in a hotel the previous night with no problems. They said that our parents would have to fax written consent for us to stay. Their email was down. My father (unbeknownst to me) decided to call them to get them to let us check in. After this, the receptionist hung up the phone and proceed to be angry with my wife and I because she didn't like the way my father was talking to her. I'm giving 2 stars because the room was nice, but I will not be staying again.
Basic but solid: room was clean, water was hot, the staff were flexible about our late check-in. Everything you need in a basic overnight stay.
Good no frills motel. Efficient check in, with a decent shower. Nothing extravagant, though.
If you don't mind listening to rats building nests in the walls all night, awkwardly patched holes through out the room and doors that don't close all the way, then you too could have the honor of sleeping for one hour before scratching wakes you, all for the low cost of $180.
Apperantly there is a price on a good night sleep and should you not get yours they'll happily give you a $30 refund on that portion of the experience because they do need keep the rats fed after all.
If you're able to sleep through anything and don't mind a the potentially hazardous repair jobs then this hotel comes highly recommended, assuming you have no sense of value to your money.
Staff was very friendly. When we first got to our room the beds hadn't been made yet, but we left to scuba dive and when we got back the room was clean and nice. Layout was a little strange and the smoke alarm seemed to be missing. Reasonably close to downtown Monterey.
Decent inn run by a friendly Indian family. The room I was in was right next to a very loud ice machine that, thankfully, the proprietors turned off immediately when asked. There was no closet in the room but it did have a microwave and mini fridge. The walls are somewhat thin and snoring can be heard through them. There is no continental breakfast.
A decent inn with beautiful surroundings within walking distance of both Chopstix Vietnamese (a very tasty restaurant, right next door) and a large open air shopping mall.
