Place was ok for a one night stayold and dated rooms, sizes, fixtures and stylethey do not accept pets on property crated or not. Service was okjust stayed the night and left early the next morning. Lots of major road construction going on in area, so very difficult to get into and out of area (their claim is to be a Route 66 motel - don't know about that). Odd that staff would bring up crime in area at checkin (does not make you feel safe) surronding neighborhood homes all have bars on windows "go figure".

Great comfy place for Route 66 travelers! Laundry and pool are clean and maintained. Great alternative to boring big hotels.

You may look over this small lodge, but it's definitely some of old school 66, preserved. From the uniquely decorated room, to the outstanding service. The pool was small, but at 9' deep, and 100 degrees it for the bill perfect for the kids and I. The young lady that not only checked us in, but have us a history lesson, and suggested places to visit nearby was great, she had so much pride you would of thought she was the owner. The glare of the neon sign after dark, the ambiance of the pool, and old school rooms that could not have been any cleaner On top of that all for under $100 bucks. Give your family a stroll down memory lane in this very clean, quiet and charming Rt. 66 Lodge.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room & pool area were VERY clean. Brook at the front desk was so friendly, it was like talking with a friend. Would definitely come back.

It was unseasonably warm but the pool was closed for the season. Located along road construction so a little hard to get to.

A very fun and pleasant experience. You can tell the owner loves her place. It is very clean and despite being vintage didn't feel run down at all. It was a great atmosphere for my family.

Denied for service dog. Clear violation of the ADA! Especially interesting since other reviews mentioned owner has a dog.

Quaint no-frills accommodations on Route 66. 1/4 mile from the Old Town Square and within walking distance or a short drive to the Botanical Garden and Rio Grande area.
