Grew up reading books here in the mid to late 1980's and all of the 1990's and some of the year 2000. Basically had 16 years of my childhood here. Great library back then and an even greater library 17 1/2 years later. Kudos to the summer reading program. Most memorable one was in the summer of 1996 which was 21 years ago and we had a party at the end and watched a movie. Now I live in Cary, NC and West Regional Library is my home library at age 33.

Noisiest library I have ever been in, and noisy rude teen hangout after school. Good place for loud conversation and teen music and video games.

I love this library. I've been to many in the Allegheny County system and this one trumps them all. It's big without being too big. It's well organized. It has a great selection. It has lots of computers. What was really helpful is a woman who was volunteering and acting as a concierge. But what really set this library apart was it's park like setting and artwork throughout the library. Ample parking is a plus.

Nice comfortable and quiet. Close parking. Nice new desktops. Usually not crowded.

This is a great compact library.

There are lots of computers, a large kids section and my favorite: a quiet study area. There are often activities in the gallery area and interesting art and collection on display.
