I’ve not actually stayed at the campground but I live close by. It is a beautiful lake and campers have access to a nice pool (including kiddie pool), rental boats, nice playgrounds, pavilions and lots of green space.

There are several fishing piers and the lake is stocked annually.

The new ranger is actively trying to get more activities and events and making improvements to the camping areas.

We love to go down and put our kayaks in and picnic by the lake. It is very peaceful and quiet. Power boats are not allowed on lake. There is a boat ramp but trolling motors only.

No swimming in the lake.

Check it out next Summer.

Great place for family gatherings. Kyaking, boat rentals available. Swimming pool on site near lake. Park & playground. Good for camping trips

We were led to believe you could swim in the lake, but that's not the case, really. Nowhere to get close enough due to reeds and grass. The pool is small but has a neat kiddie pool. Pool is $3 adult and $2 kids. Very rural. Has camping, but we didn't camp. Nice playground.
