Located at a very scenic place. The rooms are really good with a very nice view. The breakfast was awesome. The only issue I found was that the bathroom door had no lock with a gap and a huge mirror placed right across.

The room was very comfortable and warm, as well as the heated outside pool and jacuzzi. Free Bus rides conveniently make a stop right outside the hotel, and the view of the mountains was incredible. The human service was great, gicong helpful points and overall great service. However during the night it gets uncomfortably hot, and when we called the overnight staff, located in Denver, were not very helpful. Overall great experience

Very honely and comfortable, the breakfast and happy hour were very good. First night was a little rough since our ac was not working, but it was fixed by the next night. Close to downtown Aspen, very awesome hot tub too!

My wife and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary. When we arrived in our room, we were greeted by a bouquet of roses, rose petals on the bed, wine and chocolates and a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff. It was a great way to kick off our first day in Aspen. We had a fire place in our room that we used every night. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The complementary breakfast was great and just enough to get us moving each morning. Loved this place and plan on staying here again next time. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

Great little hotel in Aspen that won't make you good broke. The rooms are pretty, the shower is wonderful- they have shower heads that cover your whole body in the spray and then some. Very nice. The breakfast is pretty bad, haha. I've never taken a bite out of a piece of bacon and not finished it before. They have a wonderfully warm pool and a few hot tubs.

Just stayed there for a 2 day business trip. Location is fantastic, the rooms are adequate with a throwback vintage feel. Free breakfast in the am is solid as well as a jacuzzi session after a long day. If you don't need polish, the Molly Gibson is a great option!

If you want to overpay for poor service and disrespect this is the place! We paid $420 for one day and went to a wedding that Saturday night - and were rudely awakened at 8am Sunday morning by their staff blowing leaves right outside our window! To make matters worse when I brought this to the attention of the manager she did not make any effort or apology, she just said "we always have our staff out there at 8am". I then called the general manager and have not received even a return call. BE WARE - Don't be mistreated!

Great location within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. There's nothing incredibly special about the room, but I was in the cheapest room available and it was definitely adequate. The staff I spoke with were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was decent. I would stay here again.

The layout of the lodge is a little odd, but the rooms are fantastic for the price point. The room I stayed in was a cozy little room with a queen bed. It was nice and quiet the entire night. Nothing interrupted my sleep. If you stay here, be sure to check out the jacuzzi tubs or the pool!

Was pretty ok, good location. Nice happy hour with different drinks and snacks. Left a pair of ski goggles there and staff never got back to me which was the only negative. Ah well

Three and a half stars, really. You're paying for location, which is great.
Small, dated rooms with ok lighting. My son and I are very sensitive to allergens and this room was a 4/5 on sneezes and itchy eyes (symptoms abated quickly on leaving). Maybe it was a pet allowed room?
The bed and linens were very nice. A/C is ok. The staff is super and there are some nice homey touches. Breakfast highlights were fresh berries and good bacon, the rest: ok scrambled egg slurrythe regular cast of other breakfast items and 24 hour juice/coffee/cocoa. If you're​ paying upper end rack rate ($250/night), I wouldn't blame you if you wanted an omlette bar
The place is quiet as long as your neighbors are quiet. Late night hot tubbers in the courtyard could be a disaster. Parking on weekends is ok (some permits are suspended), but I'm not sure what they do during really busy weekdays. The pool was closed for painting(no notice on the web reservation site), and they offered to allow us to go across hwy 82 to Aspen hotel to use that pool, but no other allowance for hassle factor.
We stay in Aspen a lot for kid's activities. We were big fans of the now shuttered Sky (a Kimpton hotel); We'll keep looking for the right blend of value and location.response / report this review -

Probably the most comfortable hotel stay. The beds had a pillow top and the pillows didn't deflat as soon as you put your head on it. The shower head was an actual shower head, that gave off nice pressure unlike other hotels with two settings "not enough" or "blast of the tiles". Though renovations were going on, we were given the option to swim at the hotel across the street- we had a pool jacuzzi so we stayed in our room. All the hotel staff were super nice and helpful. Its not a fancy place, but it was a perfect place for us.
My one and only complaint is the fact the rooms have no black out curtains. Though Aspen isn't exactly a bright town, it still let in enough light that i didn't exactly love (i like my room DARK).response / report this review -

Quaint lodge heated pool and lots of outdoor lounging on site. Very friendly staff and beautiful locaton. A little older but clean.
