I was very surprised at how convenient they make the entire process from buying your ticket to the actual trip. They have conformable chairs to hang out in while on your voyage with some snacks as well. They showed a movie so the time went by pretty quick. The reason I knocked a star off is because of the price. I think the price is incredibly high for what you get.

More a novelty. The cost is high. 2 adults and a car is $300. The seating was comfortable and the food helped with the early departure. Showed a movie as well which was a good surprise. The motion of the boat wasn't too bad but I could see how it might be bad on rougher waters.

Good way for "Badgers" to see what's on the other side of the pond and sure is less expensive than owning a boat .
Lake express has made it a seamless and comfortable ride across the blue expanse.

Now this was an experience!!! Was traveling around Michigan and Wisconsin when our can broke down. We got it fixed but decided we wanted to get home asap, so we put us and our van on the boat and road it across to Michigan. It was fast and very friendly as well as safe!!! If do it again if I had to cause it was kind of expensive. But not as expensive as out could of been had this service not been available to us. Then you Lake Express!!!

Always a great experience. Can't say enough good things. Easy booking. Easy check-in. Nice accommodations. Good food, friendly staff. Great time saver, and allows a nap, too. Also interesting to be able to arrive in MI still with a full tank in the truck. We got from Milwaukee to just north of Detroit with only 1/2 tank of gas. Nice side benefit to taking the ferry.
