Very nice experience. My sales person Speer was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the vehicle that fit my needs
Can't figure out how to give it NEGATIVE stars. Horrible service department. Trashed my vehicle. It took them over 80 days to fix a leak in the sun roof. They stored the car with wet carpet in July for over 30 days before getting the parts they needed. My wife brought the car home it was still wet inside and full of mold. I couldn't believe the additional damage. Holes in the leather seats rust and mold on seats scratches all over the door panels. My insurance agent saw the pictures and sent a special investigator over. That did the trick. Erdman didn't want to lose State Farm as a service client. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!
Went into the service department to schedule an appointment for warranty work because my radio stopped working properly. The service writer told me I had to drop the vehicle off (what's the point of me making an appointment) and also stated that I had to pay a diagnostic fee of $79.99 even though the vehicle is still under full warranty. I spoke to southeast Toyota customer care and they said I should not be charged any fees for wrranty work and they set me up with another dealer for the work to be performed. I will not go back to this dealership for service.
Came to Mike Erdman Merritt Island after my old beater car finally died on me. Jimmy Christian took great care of me and set me in a 2018 Corolla, my first brand new vehicle. I am very pleased with my car and the kind service I received by all staff I encountered.
Clean and nice way to have your car maintenance done.they have donuts, coffee and sodas for free.i love this dealer.
But be aware if you don't have an appointment they make sure you feel like a criminal.
My last transaction with Mike Erdman Toyota was my second vehicle purchase. Both purchases went smoothly. I would recommend Mike Erdman Toyota to any of my friends.
There is a reason they brag that Mike Erdman is Toyota. This place is worth the drive. Jim Mattingly is more than a salesman. Not only did he make sure I got the best deal, but he has stayed with me since making sure that all my current needs with the vehicle are being met - even down to finding and replacing documents I lost. Everyone in the service department is a gem. I'm part of the Toyota Care program so even my oil changes are under warranty so I have met quite a few of them. After experiencing this kind of customer service I will never go anywhere else.
The customer service was really great. Came by for my free oil changethough i did not have an appointment it took well over 2 hours and they gave me a "complimentary" car wash. It was great until the wash.
Came back to a big ol scratch on my car next to a little one. Hardly even looked clean; water spots, tree sap still on my car (would of been great to come back to a nicely washed car). They vacuumed my car out which i was so so happy for.took out a flower i had in my car but didn't clean out the crumbs of what was left???! Took my free oil sticker off but left the sticky residue and after spraying my car didn't wipe off my rear view mirror. I was happy with my free oil change, it was definitely a mistake to wait another 40 minutes in the worst car wash of my life. ): pretty sad considering they detail cars on a daily basis. But the people were very nice.
I'm now on my fourth Tacoma from Mike Erdman and the experience is the same top notch and speedy experience every time. Salesman Jason Dean knows how to match you up with the car of your dreams while fitting well within your budget and has you out the door in under an hour. General Manager Mike Farrell runs a tight ship and makes sure that this dealership isn't like any of the other local competitors. There is no pressure and no sneaky sales tactics. The feeling you get walking into this dealership is a night and day difference between Toyota of Melbourne or Toyota of Orlando.
Save your time and your money, go to Mike Erdman first!
Skip Mike Erdman Toyota - Terrible customer Experience - run by cut-throat burned out sales people. Go to Toyota of Melbourne ask for Cliff.
I had a great experience working with Cliff Alford at Toyota of Melbourne. He made the car buying experience a good one. Our car broke down and we had been visiting dealerships for two days trying to find the best car for my family of 5. we are a Toyota family, we own a tundra, Tacoma and a scion. We own a pool service company and are always in need of service trucks. We have always bought Toyota's. After looking at different cars we decided that a Camry was the best car for us. Although we had a great experience at Toyota of Melbourne we initially stopped in at Mike Erdman Toyota.
I would like to report to you that our experience there was very bad. The sales person was completely apathetic. He could not find the keys to the car we wanted to look at, so we looked at a newer more expensive car that he did have the keys to. I decided that although the car was priced a little higher than what I initially wanted to spend that I would be interested and maybe we could work out a deal.
I asked about the price and the sales person took me directly to the finance manager who was a very rude and insulting person. There was no customer care, there was no art of the sale, there was no trying to sell me on features and value. There was only an insulting accusatory tone as the finance manager basically treated me like an idiot for asking if I he could provide a stronger offer. The dealership, the sales person, the finance manager never asked me my name, never shook my hand, never got my contact information. The salesperson said it wasn't worth learning anyone else's name as he would not remember them.
I was there over an hour looking at cars with my wife and 3 children. Exasperated we took a ride over to Toyota of Melbourne and thankfully ran into a dealership that is doing car sales right. Excellent customer service Excellent Experience. Thank you Toyota of Melbourne. We buy our Toyota's from you from now on.

My purchase was done long distance, and when I arrived to the dealership, everything was ready for me to sign. Great service, and Chris Horton did an excellent job facilitating everything that needed to be done. He got everything done/added to the car that I asked for, and then some! He was one step ahead of the game. Definitely recommend him!!
When we went shopping for a NEW car, our 3rd one in our marriage…it was a big deal…finding the right car, we have always had Toyota cars. One of my favorites was the Avalon, so going from the Sequoia to the Avalon was huge. Dustin Holland was our sales guy, young and excited to show us the new remodeled Avalon. Dustin took great pride in showing us all the computer gadgets that went with the Avalon. He was so knowledgeable on every part of that car. It took us 2 days to make up our minds, and we finally decided on that car. On the 3rd day we went back, to get a refresher course on the computer side of the Avalon. Dustin went out of his way and spent 1.5 hours with my husband, going over every part of the vehicle. Now….this was on the 3rd day…we had already purchase the car…but he still had time for us….This is what you call…customer service after we had purchased the car.
In addition, Richard Bone did our paperwork and was very helpful in this part of the process.
It was indeed a pleasure to work with both of them and the Mike Erdman staff
I had a wonderful purchasing experience at Mike Erdman Toyota! Chris was incredibly patient, helpful, and responsive throughout the process, and I appreciated the honesty, fairness, and transparency when we discussed pricing. The customer service at Mike Erdman so far has been great. Definitely recommend!
